There probably won't be much if any of the earth left by the time the sun reaches its best before date, so eternal night isn't really a feasible future (unless you're using one of the looser definitions of the word 'night').

And aren't we talking about the death of Celestia here? I would've thought you would be ever-so-slightly more upset at the possibility of such an occurrence.
