Sky Song Sketch

I need a ponysona, or whatever, so I drew a quick, simple sketch of this pony that kinda-sorta represents me. It's nothing special, but I'd like some criticism if that'd be okay

 

Her name is Sky Song, if that's important to you. She's supposed to be me, after all~!

 

I have some characteristics in mind, but I don't think that's too important right now. Just tell me if she looks bad or not~! Though, if you really want to know her, all ya' gotta do is ask

Why, thank you! She's got a certain... dreamy look to her. Like she's always got her head in the clouds.

 

And yeah, the tail is a bit edgy. I didn't spent too much time on the tail, honestly... 

 

The only existing page is a page in my head, so I'm afraid I can't help you there... I can write a quick synopsis on her if you'd like! Though, I find it hard to describe things. Especially myself...

And for colors...

 

Coat: Ice blue/white.

Mane: Rich, cerulean blue. (Her tail is the same color wrapped in a cloudy light blue)

Eyes: Same as Fluttershy's? (Creamy green)

And yes, she is a blank flank. She's quite an older one, too. She's an older filly who doesn't quite know what she wants to do in the world. She's immensely fascinated with the sky, and is thinking about being a weather pony, but she isn't sure yet...

Personality: Jeez... This is a toughy. Well, she's quite a bit like Fluttershy - lover of nature, and values all life. She's also a shy introvert like our favorite fluttery filly. She's got a much more fleshed out personality, though. She's... well, a cloudcuckoolander. I'm not sure how to describe her in any other way... Just look it up if you have no idea what that means

 

There's more to her, but I think that should be enough for now, until I write a page about her

And don't be discouraged. I had a bit of trouble getting it just right. Y'see, I have the jitters, and my hands shake pretty bad, so it's exceedingly difficult to get the lines as smooth, and straight as possible. This simple sketch took me about an hour to draw, thanks to my shaky hands...

And yes, I was going for something very original with the mane. She's supposed to have an unkempt, disheveled appearance, as she doesn't believe that mares have to be super pretty, and dazzled up. That's why her hoofs are more stallion like. She's never gone to the spa in her life

Yeah, I think I might have the same problem. It really sucks. It gets in the way of so many things... My artwork really suffers because of it...

And she's supposed to be cloud-gazing. She REALLY loves the sky, and thinks it's the only truly perfect thing in the world. She'll stare at the sky for hours on end.

 

She's also a very deep thinker, so she could be pondering about the greater things in life. Like how kittens have tiny ears.

1: I don't know...

2: I scanned it on a printer.

3: She has several talents, though, she isn't sure which one is her "special talent". She's a musician, and plays the guitar, (A pony playing the guitar? Sounds silly, right? Well shuddup ) She's really interested in the sky, and weather, so she might be a weather pony like Rainbow Dash. The thing is, she's quite a weakling, and not a terribly good flyer. She also is a world peace advocate, so I'm thinking of making her cutie mark a rainbow peace sign. I'm not too sure yet...

I like a cloudy day because it usually means rain, and love rain and when it rains. I was wondering if you could give me any tips on how to draw like that?
