Work in Progress -- Feedback appreciated -- "First Flight"

This is a work in progress. I was in an airplane and when I imagined pegesi going on their first successful flight, I came up with this orchestral... I want to add more but that will come later.

Things I am not comfortable with/ not good ATM
Intro: too punchy and loud. Not good enough.
Viola solo: just a copy and paste. Should add something else
Flute part: maybe something else with the harp

Constructive criticism appreciated!

From what I hear, it sounds very well thought out, and put together. Yes, like you said, the viola solo could be more, but the intro, in my opinion is fine. Immediately, it gave me the image of world war 1 pilots taking off for their first time, from the snare roll, but that's thanks to the movie Fly Boys. xD 

 

The title is fitting, I would love to hear the finished version, and if I could animate, I would definitely put this to an animation of Scootaloo flying for her first time. x3

Thanks! I felt uncomfortable with the intro simply because I hashed it in rather than thinking about it for a longer time. Yes indeed! It does match Scootaloo flying for the first time!
