New style

I've been drawing ponies for a few months. Since the beginning I've worked on mimicking the style used in the show. I started looking at art from other people and noticed how cute they make the ponies. Since my little brother wanted a drawing of Rainbow Dash I thought it would be a great time to try out a new style for myself. The coloring was a bit rushed since I was busy, but I think it turned out great. I will change a little bit on the style, but it's little things. Feedback would be greatly appreciated. C: (Ignore the fact it's lined paper, I need to get a sketch book soon.)    -On a side note, Rainbow is light blue, the lighting just doesn't do it justice.-

I myself prefer the shows style of drawing ponies.  This style portrayed here is a bit more cartoony.  Aside from that, it looks great.  You can definitely tell it's Rainbow Dash and it looks super cute ^^  The wing looks a little off and I'd say from this POV the other wing should be showing in the background.  I'd say add the last feather.  As for the wing that's showing, I'd recommend adding a bit more detail.  It is a more cartoony drawing, but it doesn't really look like an actual wing.  Another thing I noticed was the line just above her right hind leg, lining the body.  I wouldn't take that all the way.  Just bring in a little from the bottom and leave a gap from there and her left foreleg. The bottom curve on her left eye slopes down a bit too far.  I'd recommend lifting that up a bit.  Other than that, it  looks good.  You're a very good artist ^^

I think it looks pretty cute I agree it does look a little more cartoony, i personally like the show style a bit more, but maybe its just because i'm use to it .

 

Still its not bad, just a little different. still looks good . And still pretty adorable.

That is so incredibly adorable, I could just squee! It's a neat and very cute art style. I like it. I'm also happy to see high quality traditional art like this, when digital art seems to be overshadowing traditional art on the internet so much. Great work! I hope to see more from you in the future
