Stardust Scowled. As much as she appreciated the gesture, she did not need the help. She now had to sport a couple of bruised ribs and leg and her mind turned nasty. She had too much energy build up in her horn and she needed to do some proper damage.

Stardust released the magic and casted her spell. Time slowed just a little bit, but enough for her to break from Caras's shielding and jump away. Galloping towards the stallion she was just fighting.

She needed to hurt something so rammed herself against him just as her spell ended, giving him the full force of her blow then flying of away from the mass of bubbles.

"You do that to me again Caras... I swear that no amount of smoke will hide you from me. Remember who you are dealing with here."

The threat was seeping with anger and Stardust felt slightly sickened that she couldn't have used her favourite spell for something more than just a simple attack.

"Very well, but know this, if you threaten me once more your life will come to an end, which is such a shame considering we both have a love of killing and hurting other ponies, and if you think you can handle me in a fight, well all I have to say is, you cannot hurt what you cannot touch. As for the rest of you, I hope you learned to not stand in my way or all of your lives will come to an abrupt end."

With this said, Caras burst into smoke and vanished.

Luna opened the portal for the group to return to Canterlot.

Luna: Hurry, we need you back here now. Get through the portal!

Celestia: Hurry, there is not time.

Tempest noticed Caras and smirked. "So, you can absorb magic." He said. "Well, let's see how you fare against my aura." The cyan pegesus then fired multiple aura spheres at Caras and Stardust.

 

Dark roared and sent a swathe of fire towards Starrdust and Caras.

Caras left stardust alone with the group of 'heros' and she was again not happy about it. A pony and a dragon started firing more shots of energy at her and she immediately put up an absorbing shield. She hated having to do this, not her kind of fight but it was action at least. when she saw Caras again they were going to have a talk. Maybe in her territory, with definitely some kind of torture wall put in place, she'll need someone to keep him still while she talked.

Tempest sighed and went through the portal. He glanced at Luna, but didn't show any emotion. "I'm sorry, Luna. Caras is free." He said. The cyan pegesus then made his aura recede into his body, as he slowly trotted towards the door.

 

Dark glanced at Tempest. "I haven't seen him like this in a long time." She thought.

Crimson growled angrily as the bubble rushed taowards him, quickly using his sword helios to slice it in half before glaring at caras as he dissappeared, "DAMMIT!! COME BACK HERE YOU BUCKING COWARD!!" Said crimson angrily but soon realized it was useless and growled angrily before jumping through the portal with a look of anger at failing his task.

Tempest sighed and went through the portal. He glanced at Luna, but didn't show any emotion. "I'm sorry, Luna. Caras is free." He said. The cyan pegesus then made his aura recede into his body, as he slowly trotted towards the door.

 

Dark glanced at Tempest. "I haven't seen him like this in a long time." She thought.

Luna: Tempest, wait. Look, you tried your best and that is all I could ask for. Its a shame you where not able to stop his escape. Even I could not have seen this coming.

 

Celestia: There is still the matter at hoof. Caras is free and we have no idea where he is or where he will strike first. I am sending our finest soldiers to ever city in Eqeuestria, just incase he desides to show up.

 

Luna: I wish for you six to stay in Canterlot. If history tells us anything, it is that he is most likely to come after the rulers first, and with us gone, Equestria is sure to follow.

Tempest glanced at Luna and nodded. "I will kill Caras." He thought. The cyan pegesus then smiled as his aura surrounded him.

 

Dark smiled slightly, before heading into the gardens. "At least Tempest is back to normal." She thought. The black dragon then sat down and sighed.

Crimson growled angrily, "if caras does come here, then I'll send him to hell myself! I don't care how strong you say he is, the next time we fight, I will be the winner! I'll even kick his little followers ass too as a bonus! Free of charge!" Said crimson confidentilly.

Chivalry recovers after being knocked out for a couple minutes. "Ugh, urgh,  darn it. That damned Caras, how dare he intervene in our fight." Chivalry gets up and see's that most of the ponies who were fighting are no longer there. "What, where did everyone go? WHERE'S CARAS?!?!" Chivalry notices the portal. "What? it seem's that Luna has opened the portal again." Chivalry walks the portal. Rather slowly, for he was injured during the last fight with Stardust. 'Just you wait, were not done our battle, I will find you and destroy you. Then, nothing will be in my way to defeat Caras.' Chivalry thought to himself as he walked through the portal.

Aura wasn't prepared when the bubble hit her, and she was sent flying with the force of the impact. She tried to right herself in the air, but to no avail. She crashed into the gate and crumpled on the ground. Her body was in agony from the two collisions, and being mentally weak with a migraine on top left her weak and defenseless.

She saw the portal open and forced herself to get up and fly. She grabbed Minath, who still had not noticed it, and used the last of her energy to fly the two of them through the portal. She collapsed from pain and exhaustion the minute she touched the floor.

 

"I'm so sorry, Princess... I was useless against him."

Caras: Aura, are you in pain. Of course you are, and that is good for me, not every good for you. For you see, I can control the minds of wounded ponies with ease, and you are just so easy to control.

 

He cast his most complex spell onto Aura which gave him full control over her actions. She was not going to enjoy what he had in mind for her to do.

As Chivalry walked through the portal, he saw the two princess's waiting. He lowered his head "I'm sorry, I have failed you both. But be assured, I will kill Caras. But first, I have some unpleasant new for you." Chivalry looks up at the princess's "It seems that some ponies would rather be ruled under Caras's command. As such I have fought one of his commander's, however the fight was also a failure. Caras had intervened in our fight, he will pay for that. Anyway, if you can, please try to locate him a soon as possible. I wouldn't want anything really bad to happen while he is set free." Aura walks through the portal. "I'm so sorry, Princess... I was useless against him." Chivalry turns his attention to her. "Hey don't worry, the important thing is that we all got back safe. It doesnt seem as though that Caras has killed anypony yet... Well unless you count that guard..." Chivalry was starting to look depressed.

"Thank's Aura. Here you seem hurt, I learned some minor healing spells, but nothing major." Minath said, and her horn glowed as she cast a minor healing spell on Aura, patching up the worst of her wounds.

 

"You were great Aura. You managed to channel your magic. It doesn't matter how much it actually effected him, but I'm proud that you did it."

"Did you all think you had the poewer to stop me. You are all weak and pathetic against me, but now let's go down to why I am here. Celestia, the ruler of this land and the most powerful alicorn alive. If you are removed from equestria, the world is sure to follow. So let's get started". A large cloud of smoke engulfed Celestia and a magic shield prevented from anyone or anything getting to celestia and ever so slowly Celestia was suffacated in the thick smoke and died.

About that, you see minath healed you with a spell so my spell becamme ineffective with you so you are not under my control and I cannot control you unless you are wounded or in a state of mental depression like chivalry is right now.

"CELESTIA!" Minath shouted with tears in her eyes.

 

Celestia... my mentor... my surrogate mother... no... Celestia can't be dead!

 

Minath ran up to Celestia's corpse and hugged it close. Minath turned to Luna

 

"Screw Caras. Can't you do something, Luna?! Please! Celestia can't be dead!"

Luna: I'm sorry minath, there is nothing I can do that can undo what has happened here today. Celestia is gone, and there is no magic in this world or any other that can undo death. I'm so sorry.

Luna, began to tear up and start crying herself. She had just lost her sister and there was nothing the could do about it. She was griff striken and depressed at the thought of sister being dead.

Minath nodded grievously.

 

"Then I am her legacy. *sniffle* Luna, is there a way to honor her? I've never seen an alicorn die, so I'm not sure how I can honor her properly."

 

Celestia... no... why? You were so strong, and like a mother to me. I never got to tell you I thought of you like a mother. Or do you already know?

Crimson's eyes widened in utter shock as caras killed celestia in cold blood, suffocating her in his magic smoke, "no...no... NO NO NO! NOOOOOO!!! I LET ANOATHER FREIND DIE INFRONT OF ME! DAMMIT!! GAAAAHH!! Ragestar!!!" Screamed crimson in rage, his body then ignited in golden flames, crimson glared at caras with cold merciless eyes, "I'm going to torture you in hell for the rest of eternity...GREAT BEAST FLAMES!! DRAGON!!" Yelled crimson before firing a giant golden dragon made of flames at caras.

Luna: We can honor her, at midnight, her body will reduce to pure magic energy and then transfer itself into the next ruler. The least we can do is give her a ceremony. Gather the guards, we must prepare for the ceremony. It shall be held at Canterlots tallest tower at midnight tonight. I wish you all could be there, for all we know, the next ruler could be one of you.

Sole arrived just in time to see everyone mourning he death of someone... but he didn't know who. After asking around he finally discovered the reason of the mourning "celestia... is dead?" He said quietly to himself "one of the few ponies who I've known for over a thousand years... I swear I'll avenge her." He said angrily.

After Celestia's death, Chivalry couldn't believe his eyes. "No, this can't be. Celestia, I wonder... If he is able to beat Celestia. then what chance to we have against him. This is.. Crazy, no it's outright insane! DAMMIT CARAS, AAAAAAGH!" Chivalry was breaking down mentally. He was shaking in fear but also in anger, he didn't know what to think right now.

As soon as Minath's spell took full effect, Caras' spell was negated. Aura slowly regained control over her body and she tried to hold back the scream that had been coming since she saw Celestia's body crumple to the ground. it came out muffled, as she held a hoof to her muzzle. 

Quivering, she stared at the lifeless, white body. despite her trembling, she was probably the one who was taking it the best. Yes, she was terrified and certainly wanted to avenge the deceased princess, but she hadn't broken down.

Well, if she was the one who was going to refrain from a meltdown, it was up to her to console the others. in her eyes, anyhow.

She slowly made her way over to Minath and placed a hoof on her shoulder, trying to comfort her. 

"I'm so sorry," she murmured. "I can see that she had a special place in your heart."
