I like to listen to music most dubstep and electronic music, I like playing video games 3ds, wii and pc,

Threads in the Welcoming Plaza are supposed to be specifically for introducing yourself, and greeting new members. If you would like to help new members make friends, it would be better to just post in their intro topics.

 

If you would like something similar to what you tried to do though, this would be your best bet
