Stephan shrugged and let out a 'heh.' "Well, you know me. Always taking the more difficult way out of things. The hatch just seemed too easy." Stephan said with a smirk. "Well, I think our first order of business should be to figure out where the hell we all are."

"It's impossible to figure out. We can only see the inside if this giant warehouse. And with some ponies still sleeping in their rooms it's not like we can go further in this place. Zero would most likely say something if anything was wrong. Well, other than the fact we've heard nothing yet, all I know is that we're not getting out as long as they are sleeping."

Fire Horn and Darkshift came out of their elevator. There was barely time for an introduction before Zero's voice echoed in the whole room.

"What took you so long? And after I was nice enough to let everypony out at the same time." He sounded really angry, unlike the calm voice he had in the elevator.

"Now if all of you would please come around this screen so we can have a decent conversation, I'll explain the rules of this game."

Once again the calm voice returned and it looked like the previous statement was forgotten by him already.

Stephan smirked and let out a 'heh' "Sounds like fun. Alright, Zero. I'll play your little game." Stephan walked to the screen through the bare building he was in. The facility they seemed to be in resembled some sort of lab industry. Eventually, he made it to  giant monitor.

Grand looked at the other ponies and approached the screen cautiously. "I do hope you have a good reason to have locked us all in this... Whatever it is that we're in" she said, a tiny bit angrily. She watched the other ponies approach and watched the pony in the screen carefully

Day hung back as the some of the other ponies approached the screen. He could hear Zero well enough from where he was and didn't want to get caught up in anything. Although he found it odd that Zero would be so irritated one moment and calm the next. Day's first impressions of whomever they were dealing with weren't great, but serious mood swings only made things worse. Day decided it'd be better to follow orders from Zero until he can figure a way out of this mess. He joined the others. Day kept to the back of the group, but was close enough to not stand out on his own.

Stephan rolls his eyes and speaks up. "I take it that it means a self-destruct countdown, and if we press the buttons, it'll activate. Once it goes off, it'll cause catastrophic destruction?" Stephan asks.

Now over to the second part. How to escape. You've seen the door with the number nine on it, right? Well, if you can get the number on your bracelets to or above nine you can open it. Sad thing is that the door only opens once and only for nine seconds that is. And that brings us on the subject of how to get points. You play the ambidex game. Now if you think "I'll just let someone else open it and then I can escape too". Well... If you do that you'd be violating the rules and you will be penalized."

Stephan folded his arms and smirked. "Alright, Zero. I think we'll play your little game. I like games, anyways. Where do we start?" Stephan felt as confident as ever. He's manipulated many of his enemies tricks and mind games. He didn't think that this time would be any different.

"Next thing on the list. When the colored doors open they stay open for five minutes. Behind each colored door there is another one. You'll only be able to open it using the right combination of colors. Now can anypony tell me what the primary colors are?"

"We aren't idiots, nor are we foals. There's no need to treat us like children" she said flustered. "But if we must tell you, red yellow and blue" she said, huffing under her breath. "Now what? I'm quite sure we don't have yellow bracelets on" she said, looking at the screen with a sour expression

"Wrong! They are red, green and blue. Seems like I really have to treat you like foals after all, don't you think?

Anyway, back to the point. To open the secondary door you'll need the right combination. by the by, you can also team up with the same color. That opens the doors with the complamentary color.

So, miss finalo, how would you open the magenta door?"

"We'll I assume you are using lighting as your colour wheel reference, but I shall give you that. To enter the magenta door you would need blue and red, anything else you need answered" she said in a clearly passive aggressive voice. "So we must enter with a partner, I assume then?"

"Huh." Stephan had a puzzled look on his face. He wasn't so sure about the pony on the monitor. He must have had multiple personality disorder. One minute, he's as calm as a mouse. The next, he's as crazy as Discord. "So, what your saying is that in order to win your little game, one color has to pair up with another?"

Day had had enough. Time was running out and their were still so many questions that needed to be answered. "Wait, if we pair up won't one pony be left out? and how do we score points in this ambidex game? what exactly do mean by 'penalized'? and what's the point of this game? and to reiterate what Grand Finale asked, why are we locked in here?"

Cleo rubbed her temples. But this guy is clearly bipolar. With the way he's acting, I wouldn't be surprised if he was actually Discord's minion or something.

And how could I forget about the penalty? Well, it's simple. You die.

There are two types of poisons in your bracelets.The first one is an anesthetic called soporil beta and the second one which is called tubocurarine, a muscle relaxer. I wouldn't want you to suffer when you'd die. I'm not a monster you know.

Oh one more thing unicorns can't use magic other than levitation anymore. To make sure of that I have a third poison in their bracelets which will make them unable to use anything that isn't levitation."

The anti-magic poison in the bracelets activated. A barely noticable pain went through all the unicorns' wrists.

Stephan suddenly felt a little worried. If he didn't win, it would probably cost him his life. On top of that, now he knows that these tiny bracelets were poison dispensers. He put his game face on and looked Zero in the eye. "No way, Zero. We'll get through this and show you just how much of a group of foals we really are. What are we playing first?"

An automated sounding voice echoed through the room. "Colored doors have opened. Five minutes untill colored doors close."

Stephan saw the colored doors open. "Let's do this!" He stepped inside of the red colored door. Since the color red was on his bracelet, he only assumed that going into the red colored door was the way to go. He assumed Midnight would be coming with him, since they were both roped into the same elevator.

Cleo walked to the blue door, and looked back. Nova and I woke up at the same time. Means that we're doing this together. Woo. Rolling her eyes, she faced the door again. An idle thought crossed her mind. I should've paid more attention in school.

Five minutes was not enough time to have a thorough debate about who should go in what door. Some of the other ponies looked confused so Day decided to lay it out for them. "Alright guys so here are our options with the three doors: 

First, all colors of one color goes into the color opposite on the color wheel. So, Green team goes into the Magenta door, Blue team goes into the yellow door, and Red team goes into the Cyan door.  

The second and third options involve mixing up colors to create the door color. One choice is the solo red goes with blue pair through the Magenta door, solo green and red pair go through the Yellow door, and solo blue goes with green pair through the Cyan door.

The last choice is blue solo and red pair go through the Magenta door, green pair and red solo go through Yellow door, and that leaves blue pair and green solo go through the Cyan door. Anypony care to do a quick vote for a particular set up?"
