I dunno, it was fun but lol I'm so tired I can't even keep my head up right now even though I just slept for like I don't know how many hours. Outside of fun memes, what'd you guys think of the panel? I know I was tired and apparently looked angry throughout most of it, which lol I'm sory about, I'm really wondering what you folks thought about LSOH.

It was a surprice, a good shocking one. Calling for a 2 hr long project with that quality well ill be damn that's an ambitious project. Not just that even when you were like a Energy Drink thirsty Zombie you managed to show the passion you have behind this. Not just you Ice Storm and Feld0 did an awesome job too.

 

I downloaded the .swf file as soon as you told us and Im working on my "portfolio" to become part of writersinharmony. Overall great presentation, im very sad I wasnt able to go there yet you guys made my day. You need a hat and a monocle now Bababa you landed it like a sir.

After three days at BronyCon, I've met so many people I had only talked to on the internet before. I hung out with lots of famous people that I wouldn't have been able to before. I made a lot of new friends and learned a lot about my existing ones.

 

I don't normally care about what happens in my life (No, not like... in a depressed way, but in a nonchalant way) but these past days have been really special to me.

 

First of all, I met Feld0. That was a really big one for me! He was probably actually the only guy I was actively searching for the whole time, instead of tombstone or glaze or the people you would expect me to be searching for. He's even cooler than I expected (surprisingly, since I already knew he was super-duper awesome) and his maturity blew me away. I like that! xD By the way nice hair.

 

Secondly, I saw PonyFM's newer version. I'm not sure who of us is working on the development but it looks fantastic! Congratulations to all of you Poniverse developers for a great job! I know it was just a demo version but most of the features were already in there and you impressed my musician friend at the panel.

 

Funny story, at the Poniverse booth, I was so proud of myself for getting some guy to sign up for poniverse by saying "Hey you, sign up, I'm not going to tell you anything about it except it's awesome." so this guy signed up and he was like "how come this email is taken?" and I was like "uh oh, do you already have an MLPForums account?" and he said yes. xDDDD So i never really helped the booth, to be honest. haha

 

Thirdly, I found some of my old friends from earlier cons, like Coconeru, JoaftheLoaf, Electrokaplosion, and Matthew Mosier. I ended up hanging with them the whole con, and met the other people they were hanging out with, like Megaphoric, Dreamchan, Prince Whatever, Feather, Chi chi, and plenty of others. It was a pretty amazing experience, being in a hotel room that 9 people were sleeping in and thinking that I was the 3rd least famous (I think) person in the room. I don't consider these people as celebrities of any sort... they're friends! To the point where I could call them by their real name and they'd know it was me.

 

Fourth, the line was sooooo long to get badges....

 

Fifth, I confirmed that Omnipony and I are the same age and have the same birthday... and we're both asian brony musicians.

 

Lastly, going to this con has made me realize that it would be impossible to leave this fandom. Unless all of the friends I met here left at once, I wouldn't be comfortable leaving anymore. Which is what I had been trying to do earlier.

Lucky SoB. I wish I could have gone to bronycon (the biggest and most awesomest brony con ever). However, I am not that sad. In a couple of years, I am going to be going to bronycon. Bronycon 2016, hope to see you there.

I hear ya.    I wish I could of been there a lot earlyer than 8 am  but  had to get at least 2 hrs sleep before a 4 hr drive lol.    I'll be better prepared next year.   

 

I had a TON o Fun tho.    Spent most of the time going from pannel to pannel with my wife.  I kinda forgot about the meet up, I;m sorry.    And when I got a chance to visit the Ponyverse booth no one was there....

I wish I could have gone this year, but I'm in summer school now. I hope that everyone who attended, had a very fun time at BronyCon maybe one day I will go so that people on the forums can see me. Also, at the same time I'll be having fun.

I had so much fun! It was amazing to meet Rainbowswag4, Auron, Haven, Fox, Lord Bababa ("WE LOVE YOU BABABA!!!"), and Feld0 and the mod team. You guys are all as fun and badass in real life as you are on here.

 

Can't wait until next year!

 

For now...to find a way to get all this pony merch home. :/

I had a blast, in my year and a half of being a brony I had never attending a brony convention so this was a huge step in my brony development, lol. I met a good amount of people and have a sore hand from all the brohooves I recieved. The thing that stood out the most was the high caliber of people the brony community has in it. I know we have musicians and artists and just plain pony fans but these people are humble, polite, courteous, and just down right awesome. Thank you BronyCon for such a wonderful experience and thank you to my fellow bronies for making my first con a great and memorable experience.

Haha at one  thing, the audience got rick rolled I didn't really have time to watch all of the panels since I wanted to do other things, but I watched most of them and the bronypalooza. Poor people at friday who were waiting for The Living Tombstone and then they were told he were not going to perform that day.

To be completely honest, I think you kinda ruined the panel. How come you didn't get any sleep? Cause you must have been up for days or something to get that tired.. But the whole panel wasn't really that bad. You guys said the most important things and you kept the panel alive with a couple of jokes and hugs

I really wanted to go but I needed the money, so going to the US wasn't really just something I would do all of a sudden. :/ I really wanted to go, maybe next year. Hopefully I can attend next years bronycon then I can meet all of you great people. I hope that Bronycon 2013 was fun and I hope that you all had a wonderful time.

Tombstone was the closer on night two and it was the (insert word meaning awesome). Actually everypony who performed was great. It was the cherry on top for my first brony convention.

Well, actually I thought kind of made it perfectly clear within the first few seconds of me speaking why I was so tired... but I guess I didn't so hey. The whole bronycon trailer was a mess and everyone on the team was working really hard under an extreme deadline to get something out there that was presentable which included many all nighters and in my case 50 redbulls thanks to all the fun errors we had with our custom puppets and assets. Honestly I don't quite believe we succeeded and the rest of the team can confirm that the next trailer and not to mention the final product will be like, 2000% percent cooler. And then of course we now have some fun puppet issues with what was put up that apparently I wasn't supposed to put up to begin with and uuughhhh I'm doing a great job representing the team, aren't I?

Actually, you did not fix it. The fad is unfunny, boring, and insanely forced. I pretty much know the only reason it exists.

 

Beyond that, this thread depresses me. Everyone seems to have a great time at these conventions and I know I will never make it any of them. Even if I did go, I have hardcore social anxiety and I would probably just feel inferior to everyone around me anyway. Cruel irony I guess.

BronyCon was pretty fun for me. I got to see a ton of people from the fandom that I never would otherwise. The reveals at some of the panels were pretty cool. The bummer for me was the lack of plushies. And the lines were ridiculously long. It was totally worth it though. I would go again.

Well...I think there is a wonderful story to tell here.

 

Lumi(nescence) had bought a Pinkie Pie cube plush (like this) from one of the vendors. While walking past the vendor again, our dear Zoop had "convinced" Lumi to buy the Pinkamena version of the same said plushie style as it was the last one there that hadn't been purchased. Lumi then shells out the $40 for the awesome lil' plush to make the couple complete. Afterwards, the group (quite a good sized group) walked to the next aisle of vendors continuing to search for various merch to buy. As we neared the end of the aisle, one of the vendors had given a strong complement/adornment for the pinkamena plush that Lumi had just bought (maybe 10-15 mintues ago). Zoop, being the devious mastermind he is, proposes to Lumi that he should give her the plush. Of course, the girl refused, especially since we had told her that it was the last one when she had first complemented on it. Lumi thought about it while Zoop kept telling him to do it. Finally, Lumi ultimately decided to give the girl the $40 plush that he had just purchased ~10 minutes earlier.

 

Not going to lie, I'm pretty sure the girl was on the verge of tears for what Lumi had done for her.

I've come to the conclusion that Lumi is Generosity after the events witnessed at the con, and generally how he throws his vast skills at people with that wonderful smile about him, Artemis is Loyalty seeing as he stuck by my side, the schmuck that I am, the entire three days and was perfectly content with the idea of spending time with me (I'm eternally grateful <3 Arty for best new surrogate brother), Zoop is laughter just because he's hilarious and very good at making any group he's in burst out laughing with his antics, Jonke is Fluttershy because I don't think I heard him speak even five words out loud the entire time (though, Lurpy could battle him for this title), and SkyGunner is Honesty, because he's very straightforward, but doesn't do it to be a dick.

 

Then there's M.A Larson, who's Magic. Just because he photo bombs like a pro.
