Personally, like you, I'm getting a PC, and then getting a 3DS. Next year, I will probably pick up an Xbox One, but that's all I plan on getting.

I'm already planning on getting the Wii U in a few months, but if I get more money, I'm going to get a PS4. The major reason I didn't get a PS3 last gen was because of the cost, so I'm glad the PS4 is fairly cheap.

I just reserved the PS4 at Gamestop the other day, I tried to a couple of weeks ago but they said they were booked up so I got put on a waiting list and when my name came up I reserved it post haste. Of the current generation PS3 was my favorite, and Sony's showing at E3 was impressive and the price is right so PS4 it is.

I'll be going for all three, PS4 first, then Wii U, then a One a few years later.
I had all three systems last generation, and just got a gaming PC a few months back, but PS3 was my preferred system, and I really lost faith in Microsoft earlier this year. Plus, I find Sony has better exclusives and the price is good too.

I preordered a PS4 like 2 weeks ago. Sony were saying that if people in the UK wanted a PS4 at launch, they had to preorder before August 7th, and I was afraid I wouldn't get one.

3DS is getting a wealth of games so I'll just stick with that and my 360 until I see how the systems do. I usually wait about a year to go next gen, I'm in no hurry to upgrade.

Currently, I'll be getting myself a 3DS upon the release of Pokemon X&Y(I preordered both). In about a week or two, though, I'll be buying a new phone.

After that, I'll be saving up for the 3DS and Pokemon, as well as a $3000 PC which I hope to have by the end of the year, if not sooner. Then, I'll save for either or both consoles. Microsoft has rather let me down, but I'm debating with myself whether or not it has let me down enough to not buy it and the new Halo game.
Sony's PS4 also has caught my eye, due to it having some interesting stuff, and me not having own a Sony console since the original Playstation.

I also am debating Destiny, and what to get it on. I can't recall if it is on PC as well.

In between all this, and likely before getting a One or PS4, I'll be snagging a glorious WiiU, so that I can play the new Super Smash bros.
Also, Oculus Rift.

Yesterday I was at a Networking party with a bunch of game industry people. Some guys from Nicalis brought their PS4 dev kit and their game 1001 spikes. Anyway on to my point. The PS3 controller is one of my least favorite controllers, but the PS4 controller is tweaked enough that it is very solid. I'd even go as far to say it the best controller since the gamecube. Anyway in terms of xboxone vs PS4 I'm switching. Also 1001 spikes is flipping rad get it to play with your friends.

I already have a Wii U because 2014 is looking great for it. Besides that I'll probably be getting a PS4, but not at launch at E3 there was only one game that I wanted for it. I'll pick one up after a price drop I guess.

I'll just be getting the PS4 and possibly a PC if I have enough money left over. I would settle for the Xbox One but, it's not my cup of tea. But, all three choices do have something special in each of them.

Yeah about that, the PS4 will be P2P online $5 a month $60 a year. You need a PS+ account to play online on the PS4. Unless they changed that over the last month. You can still use a few things w/o paying but to play mutilplayer you hav to be PS+ member.

No, I have my PC and xbox 360 so I'm happy! top of all that if I do get one its not going to be for a year or 2, let them fix the bugs on the systems, get some good games going and wait for the price to go down. Sure would be nice to see what the xbox one can do but noting I cant wait for....

Xbox One against the PS4 is no contest.  Xbone against anything is no contest.  I'll be able to get a great gaming PC for less than $500, the PS4 has better specs at $100 less, and the WiiU has better multi-media features at $150 less.

 

I'll be asking for the WiiU for Christmas, maybe get a better gaming PC before the year ends, and probably get the PS4 sometime next year.  The Xbone isn't even on my radar.

Enough said. I'll be splitting my gaming between the PS4 and PC next generation. The Xbox brand doesn't mean much to me anymore anyway, the only reason why I still have an XBL account is so I can play (somewhat) decent games on my phone.
