It says 2, so I go to season 2 on Netflix. Then it says 8.

No. There's some fun superhero references, and a really great character moment for Dash. Outside of that though it's one of the closer episodes I've come to actually not liking.

 

 Dash's friends kinda took their lesson for her a bit...a lot too far.

Hmm it wasn't as bad as I remember it being. I actually liked some of the references to Darkwing Duck and Batman. And a few of the jokes did actually manage to be quite funny.

 

The main problem is still the moral. I get that the moral is "Don't be arrogant and boastful" but what the rest of the Mane 6 do, repeatedly humiliating her and leaving her depressed and alone, is far more contemptible than anything she was doing.

 

All in all, not the worst episode of them all but probably not one I'll be rewatching any time soon.

 Yeah, I agree. At the very least they should have at least talked to Dash about it first, instead of jumping into their plan immediately.
