Ever wonder what bloat looks like? Both of these screenshots were taken right after a bootup. I'm pretty happy with boot and response times on my Windows machine, but man, that's a huge difference. It always shocks me how much lighter on resources Linux distros are than Windows. 

It's not entirely a fair comparison since I do use my Windows machine for a lot more than laptop. At the same time, I have a lot of programs that launch themselves at boot disabled so it kind of is the minimum Windows uses at idle for me.
