Mostly the twentieth century, up until the end of the Cold War. That was my university course was focused on. Back in school I studied the American Civil Rights Movement and Apartheid in South Africa for quite a long time, as well as the suffragette movement so the fight for equality is something I always find both fascinating and inspiring.

 

But I also have an interest in the 18th and 19th centuries (especially the Victorian era), the French Revolution and The English Civil War.

Oh Wow! 18th and 19th centuries are my favourite time periods too.. Especially the victorian era! 

Though I tend to find the interactions between the different social classes to be particularly interesting! It was the time of industrialisation, the transition between the modern and classical!

Hey, I LOVE History! Currently doing it for A-Levels and my favourite period is the English Dark Ages, with the Anglo-Saxons and the Vikings in Britain.
