gaming Call of Duty: World at War

Alright, COD WAW is one of my favorite COD games, but I hate the hackers, I had to report 12 people in one day! I dont mind having unlimited ammo and jumping really high, but to have some stupid hacks like god, aimbot, Ect. I REALLY want Treyarch to fix this game, the game is amazing but the players (hackers) are absolute assholes. What do you guys think?

Of course, they should fix the game. But, it's too late for the developers to even get rid of the hackers to fix the game because they are too busy working on new FPS games to release. Besides, Black Ops II is a broken game but releasing patches usually doesn't fix the game. I don't see Treyarch fixing the game though.

I stopped playing WaW because every server that isn't dead is tactical crouch or some shit. I don't see the point in playing a fast-paced run around and shoot shit game like CoD if all I'm allowed to do in pretty much every server is crouchwalk.

Similar applies to BO1, but it has more variety. (And by that, I mean 24/7 nuketown)

I got WaW when it was on sale a few months back on my xbox. I played a good 2 or 3 matches without any hackers. Ever since then every match has invincible people flying around killing everyone, which sucks. I gotta say, In those 2 or 3 matches I did way better than I ever did in Black ops, MW3, or Black Ops 2. I was actually good at WaW, and it was really fun! It's sad that the servers are all hacked up. That's what I dislike about COD. You play the game for one year, and move on to the next, and the old one proceeds to get hacked a lot.

I stopped playing WaW since everyone started hacking, for invincibility, etc. It sucks that there are few WWII games that have a small amount of hackers. But at least there's still MW2 and Black Ops I (the only COD games I find with OKAY multiplayer nowadays)

WaW was my childhood shooter along with Halo CE. I loved everything about that game. The Campaign was amazing since I'm kinda a history nut and you get to go to many famous battles towards the end of WWII. The Zombie mode was amazing since the maps weren't overly complicated. The multiplayer was okay but then as everyone knows hackers made it impossible for me to play and level up.

I think there's a thread for cod in general.. Anyways, I miss that you could shoot off body parts in cod waw. And I liked the knifing better cause it looks much better than in the other cod games. And the maps are great too.

I have Call of Duty: World at War on my PC, and there is not really that many hackers. (ironic) I mean there are custom maps and mods for the zombie mode and sometimes multiplayer, but when you're searching for a server you can toggle if you want a game with mods or not. It's still one of my favorite FPS's of all time (TF2 takes the cake on that one...), and the new community made maps give it a fresh look, feel, and experience.

I was actually talking with a friend about this game today. We used to play the zombies mode all the time. It was great fun. It is really weird to think that once Ghosts is out, it will be the 5th game in the series since WaW. That really is milking it...I cannot seem to get the same sense of fun from any portion of the games like I had back then, thanks to over saturation.

 

I found the multiplayer to be a bit subpar though. The campaign was pretty good, though very short, as most of them are.

Yes! World at War was my favorite, and the last Call of Duty that was actually a good multiplayer game. It sucks big ones that I can't play it anymore, because it was just a joy to play. I would love to be able to play it right now, all the games released after are just big piles of incompetently designed crap. Somehow I doubt that there will ever be another good CoD, but one can hope.

This is literally the ONLY good Call of Duty game from within the entire series. The multiplayer was balanced and the zombies was good time waster. The campaign was also VERY well done. I enjoyed it. The Death Cards were funny too. XD

COD WAW is my favourite COD game of all times. The dark atmosphere present throughout and the WW2 setting is perhaps why I love the game so much. I play it on PC and I find that MP is still good (at least for the last time I played it).

World at War is considered dead by Treyarch. Due to this, there shouldn't be anymore DLC of Patches. I doubt anyone will do this, but maybe if enough players on here to get on all at once with the intention to look for and report hackers, there will be a LOT less hackers. We wouldn't get rid of all of them completely, but we would get rid of quite a few. Message me if you're interested. If enough people message me, I will probably make a thread. (Probably no one is interested, but I could be wrong.)

Im with you on that, GT: PvtFlutt3rshy. I dont care if we cant get all of em, just as long as we get alot of em off Xbox and hopefully banned.

I LOVE THAT GAME!

 

The Cod: Waw, is "one" of the only CoD worth mentioning in my humble opinion.

 

Grab that Trench gun, and shoot some arms off, man, that was such fun!

 

I also loved the tanks on certain maps, it could wreck the other team in a pinch, unless they had satchel charges.

 

But alas, i stopped playing it a few months ago, having people flying and being invincible, and getting continuous dog killstreaks on you isn't that fun anymore.

 

And MP40 + Juggernaut... WHHHHYYYYYYYYYYYY!

 

But hey, send me a request @ A Rarity, i 'spose i could play a bit, i got boosted up to 10th prestige though, with all archievements/attachments unlocked, sadly enough. Don't trust public "Der Riese" maps.

For some reason I have ALMOST NEVER encountered a hacker on PC Cod 4 on Steam and that game is even older than WaW.

I just don't get it.

This is literally really the only good Call of Duty game out of everything that Infinity Ward and Treyarch had to throw at us.

 

The multiplayer was balanced along with amazing maps. The campaign was worth playing for its story. Not to mention the hidden Death Cards (Which worked like the skulls from Halo) and the Nazi Zombies mode. Plus, Co-op campaign! The one thing every Call of Duty seems to be lacking all of a sudden.

 

This CoD may not have any sort of "special" mission mode or dozens of fancy killstreaks, but its still playable compared to MW3 and BO2.
