I'm a massive fan of Goth music. I love anything from Deathrock and Post-Punk, to Dark Wave, and more modern Goth Rock.

Although these guys are a contemporary Deathrock band, they've got that old-school Bat Cave sound perfectly.

The 69 Eyes are a pretty fantastic Goth Rock band.

Sounds pretty good, I'm digging them

Fuck, oh well I looked them up myself, I definitely didn't regret it, not a waste of my time for sure.

They're awesome, but they change their sound fairly regularly. Funnily enuogh, they were originally a Glam band.

I would recommend listening to Aurelio Voltaire. He's my favorite Goth artist:

Voltaire is one of my favorite artists ever.

Voltaire is fantastic.

And whilst we're in Dark Cabaret-ish land...

Not sure if you like J-metal or not but Dir en Grey were huge for me back in my goth days.

I discovered a goth industrial group called God Module. Here's one of my personal faves called Art.

Psyclon 9 with Paracitic

Japanese goth trance duo called Aural Vampire and their song Vampire Ecstacy

Oh the nostalgia~~ Enjoy :D

I never really got into God Module to be honest, but they seem to be a pretty big Harsh EBM band. I do love Ashbury Hight's remix of Art, though

I'm a massive Psyclon Nine fan. Really looking forward to their new album.

I love Dir En Grey (I actually own Uroboros on CD) but I had no idea that they counted as a Goth band, I guess they could be a Gothic Progressive Death Metal band.

I've been meaning to get into all that Harsh EBM stuff, Psyclon Nine seem to be a pretty good band

As much as I adore Psyclon Nine, they aren't the best example of the genre. Nero kind of blends Aggrotech With Industrial and Black Metal, and the sound he's been creating is becoming more and more Metal orientated with each album.

For one reason or another, I got into Harsh EBM and Aggrotech with more obscure acts like Yade and Arise X.

Not sure why I discovered them before bands like Grendel, Aesthetic Perfection, and Nachtmahr, but I enjoyed them a great deal.

A quite obscure album, the only one released by the band, "Sister Devil" is a really fantastic, minimalist gothic rock album. One of the guy's from the black metal band VON plays in it.

More post-punk than goth, I'll never understand how these guys didn't get more noticed. They are like a better version of Joy Division.

I liked this.

Eh, Post-Punk was essentially Proto and early Goth music anyway.

Anyway, here's one of my favorite Dark Wave projects, though I do find Sean a little obnoxious.

Also, Blutengel are pretty awesome if you like more electronic stuff

I don’t even care that this is an age old post. You deserve an award for posting Aural Vampire. They’ve been criminally underrated. I actually got to talk to Exo-Chicka online and she is an absolute sweetheart.

That being y’all can’t have a goth thread without our Dancefloor anthem.
