Am I the only one who feels kinda bad for celebrities?

I mean, you look at shows like TMZ (Hopefully you're not watching it) and they constantly hound celebrities and report on their personal life and stuff. Don't you feel a bit bad for them? I personally would find it aggravating that I wouldn't be able to go outside without a ton of people bothering me. Sure, it would be nice to be famous, but not at the cost of privacy.

i know what you mean. if there is anything that's of a great value to me, then it's my privacy. and those papparazzi people just invade their privacy anywhere they go.

I feel the same way. I will feel uncomfortable if the papparazzi started following and taking pictures anywhere I go and I don't want my life be in celebrity gossip sites or on the news. I don't care about celebrity news, but I kind of feel bad for the  celebrites themselves. What's worst about them is that when they had children, the papparazzi takes pictures if them ever second which will probably make them upset or scared.

I understand what you mean no one deserves to be hounded like that, but it comes with the territory I'm sure they knew people like that existed. However I wonder why the people like them are even legally allowed to do what they do isn't it pretty much a group of stalkers, I guess there are so many of them it be impossible to deal with.

I feel bad for celebrities since they do deserve their own privacy, since the paparazzi keeps harassing them to get pictures of their everyday lives. The celebrities themselves enjoy the fame but, the fame comes with a price when it comes to privacy.

Yeah, I feel bad for the celebrities, and as well I am pissed off at people that actually care, and also those that report about that stuff. It's disrespecting the privacy a celebrity deserves.

 

Celebrities should not be stalked and reported about their lives. Disappointing, is what all this business is. It should be banned, because a celebrity's normal life is no more important than a regular person's normal life.

I feel bad too. They are put under a lot of pressure and that's why a lot of them do really weird stuff or commit suicide.

I feel bad for those who are the victims of paparrazzi while they don't deserve it. The problem is that some celebrities virtually cry out for being harassed, so papparazzi start their work and when they don't get what they want, they stalk other people who never did something to deserve it. They provoke reactions, the celebrity who just wanted to stop it all is mostly blamed for a very human reaction and the paparrazzi have another target. It's a vicious cycle. And I feel sorry for those celebrities who are caught in it and never did anything really wrong.

Pfft, I'm not even a celebrity, and that doesn't stop people from hounding MY personal life. I mean, it's called personal life for a fuckin' reason. That being said, I simply choose not to watch endless spewing of celebrity trivia, but at the same time, they should have a right to their privacy. Fame is a give and take relationship-everybody knows you at the price of everything you do is posted on twitter or facebook. When people take get the break to become famous, I bet they realised what it meant. It meant;

-Screaming fans

-Live concerts

-Loads of money

-Tours

-Paparazzi

-No privacy

I don't feel so bad for the actors so much, it's their kids that where born into the life of the famous that I feel sorry for, because THEY didn't ask to be hounded by the paparazzi, their parent(s) did.

I didn't say they weren't bothered by that! I am offended you assume I implied that D: But it is not the end of their lives, sure they get bothered by it and deserve some privacy, but their lives aren't bad like you said.

It really depends, if I were some sort of celebrity at times all this publicity would be nice at times but at other times it'd be cursed.

 

Like if they caught you eating a hot-dog wrong, you'd instantly be labeled as some crazed sex addict or some ridiculous thing like that.

 

It's good and bad at time to have that amount of publicity at-times depending on who you are.

Little yes and a little no. Paparazi leeching off celebrities is nothing new so they knew what they were getting into, however crap like TMZ definitely has made it worse. In no way am I saying paparazi aren't A-holes for doing what they do but its hard to feel 100% sorry for the celebs. Especially when some celebs love their garbage posted on every website radio and TV even if they wont admit it. Don't tell me for a second the cast of Jersey Shore didn't love having all their bullshit shown to the world back when they were (and it pains me to say it) socially relevant. So it varies from person to person.

If I were them and people were stalking me I would say stuff like "HEY, YOU PEOPLE MUST HAVE SUCH LIVELY AND INTEReSTING LIVES" and "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU WEARING!? THAT THING FROM THE 60s!? YOUR BAD CHOICE OF CLOTHES MIGHT RUB OFF ON ME". That'll keep them away. I'd even hide notes around my house for them to find with useless info like "Did you know that stalking celebrities is a huge waste of your and my time?", "My guard dog can run from one end of my garden to the other in 0.4 seconds, can you?" and "You must be really proud of yourself to look through my stuff, your parents must be proud of you as well.".

 

Seriously, there's not a single thing I wouldn't do to annoy paparazi and fans. Making it as hard for them as possible, at least they'd get what they deserve. 

 

Even better, I would just hang around news articles with ACTUAL important news around my home, and hand out pressing international matters to my fans.

 

Whether I'd lose popularity or not, by then I would've already made so much money it wouldn't even matter, just the easy life that celebrities live in. I mean, you should be happy that the only thing you have to deal with is the media.

Shows and others like TMZ aren't helping, and fangirls and fanboys are also a great distraught towards celebrities.
