I disagree. I think the reason so many people disliked it is because most people have not read the books and do not understand the impact of the Fall of Reach. It was intentionally given a different feel.

But opinions are opinions

 

Halo Reach was created to accompany the books. Halo CE actually took place after Reach fell. The Pillar of Autumn escaped with Master Chief and Cortana, which takes place at the beginning of Halo CE. In my opinion it was worth every penny :3

Yeah i was a SPARTAN II before i was a Brony. The Halo series will always be my favorite universe, in any media. Halo hasn't been the same since Master Chief went into Cryo. Playing as ODST's and Noble 6 just wasn't the same. I can't wait to play as John again.

Well yesterday I finished my Legendary run of all the games except Halo Wars. Good times.

 

I am so fucking pumped for Halo 4. I've been looking forward to this since the moment I saw Requiem at the end of Halo 3, which was like 4 years ago.

 

Anyways, in my opinion Halo 2 was the best. The campaign was really memorable to me and I had some of my best multiplayer gaming experiences

in Halo 2.

 

Ya know what kinda pisses me off though? How literally everyone I know claims that they looooove Halo when they've only played Reach and have sold it/stopped playing it by now. Watch as they all buy Halo 4, then never play it again when Black Ops 2 comes out.

Edit: First off, I'm too poor too afford anything besides the regular edition :/

Second, I probably won't have my cable back by the 6th (Fuck you, Sandy) so even if I finish the campaign in launch day, I won't be able to play multiplayer. Here I was all excited for it...

You always have Spartan Ops. Also, don't ever try Halo Wars legendary. 2 of those missions are extremely hard, like impossible. Trying to escort 2 tanks, a few ODSTs and 3 Spartans through an entire lane filled with covenant means only your spartans survive, and only because of their shields. It's also a pain to try to take down a scarab being built with only warthogs, marines, and tanks. Especially when your base only has like, 2 walls of cover and the scarab knows where your base is in about 4 minutes.

 

That aside, I managed to get The Limited Edition And Halo 4 Console. Can't wait to wear the FOTUS armor and unlock all the specializations. Just hope Microsoft doesn't release all the specializations on November 20th or whatever, would make 40 extra bucks almost down the drain.

Personally, I think the only reason people didn't like it was there was no multiplayer, I personally liked ODST, never saw why people hated it. Then again, after beating campaign and getting those achievements for recon, there wasn't really a reason to play it anymore.

I'm alot more excited for Spartan Ops than I was originally. I always loved co-op but I hate co-op campaign. It ruins the feel and experience when one guy's teabagging Chief and 'nade jumping while I'm trying to comprehend and appreciate the story :3

I honestly think this is the most excited I've ever been for a game. Halo was a major part of my childhood, and is a defining factor of me as a a gamer. (And yes, Halo 2 was one of the highlights of my childhood. Is that bad?)

 

Spamming the shit out of everything until the promised item is within my firm and unwavering grasp. I can taste it now.
