I spoiled her back-story, since it is long. I would prefer you to critique my story rather than the picture, if you'd please...

Note: She is human in this story. The back-story for other characters I will post later will show how she becomes sort of pony-like.

When she was first born on her origin planet, Earth, Her two parents, Peter and Anne Petagrule, were murdered by a duo of thieves. She survived the attack, and once police found her at the crime scene, she was sent immediately to the nearest orphanage.

At the orphanage, she grew up with a fairly righteous mind. She didn't often go against her guardian's words, unlike some of the children. Even so, though, she though most people were nice in her world. She didn't have a good enough memory to remember the night her parents died, so two people who worked at the orphanage, Ray and Donnah McClurr acted as her parents. She was taken to a school for any other child, not for any orphaned children, since they wanted to prevent her from knowing about her parents' deaths. At the school, she received pretty high grades, and was a hard working student most of the time. She also had a good amount of friends.

However, once she entered the intermediate grades, she moved to a different school, and lost all of her friends and her good reputation. The school was about the same, just bigger, and they taught more advanced lessons, as they should. But, this school had one thing her previous school didn't: a bully. Her name was Eburndy Lavice, commonly referred to as "Blaze" by her "Friends." She and one of her better friends, whose name was Vivian, acted like they ruled the school. Mostly because Eburndy's father did actually own the school. Diane was the prime target for Eburny and Vivian, but she never took offence to the words she said.

One night changed Diane's attitude forever. She woke up one night feeling parched, and went downstairs to get a glass of water. On the way, though, she passed by her parent's bedroom, where these exact words left one of their mouths: "I don't think I can keep telling her that we are her real parents, I just hate lying." Since Diane was unintentionally eavesdropping on them, she caught their attention and ran back into her room, crying furiously. Her "Parents" ran after her, and tried to explain the situation as best as they could. Diane wanted to know who her real parents were, but the two didn't actually know who her real parents were, so their ignorance angered her more. Once they left, she let out her anger on the soft plush animals scattered around her room by pounding on them.

The next day was also a major turning point in her life. Despite losing a tooth that day, she planned on passing a note to one of her newer friends telling them about the new situation she was in. Once the note was written, Eburndy snatched it out of her hands. She tried to withdraw her anger to tell an adult, and when she was leaving to do so, Eburndy was trying to insult her enough so she would stop. Not much worked, so she referenced the note. This is the dialogue from that scene:

"Gee, it sure is a shame that your dumbass parents died after you were born and not before. The world could go without you." Eburndy mocked.

Diane halted in her tracks, and began to tremble. Eburndy assumed she was about to cry, as she sometimes did, so she continued with her insults. As the final nerve in Diane's will snapped, she licked the bloody area where her lost tooth once was, and tasted the blood on her tongue. It was sweet.

With a bloody lust, she captured Eburndy by her neck, and pinned her to the lockers, keeping her head just above the dial. She then began to beat her face into a pulp with all of her might, letting the dial pierce into the back of her skull. Blood splattered all over the lockers, and before she could finish, security guards wrenched Diane off of her dying -- now dead -- prey. Coming to her senses, she witnessed the mess she created.

After that incident, everything became extremely complicated. A 12 year old girl brutally murdering a slightly older girl was certainly newsworthy. Some say she should be punished by death, some by jail, and some agreed with what happened. She was sent to jail. But, unlike this world, there is no jail made specifically for younger people, so she was thrown in with the older men and women who committed crimes.

There, instead of being tortured by them, the inmates took her in with open arms. Not guns, their meaty, human arms. They saw a terrible potential in her, and trained her to be a hard fighter when they could.

Once she was done with jail, she had a hard time adjusting to a normal life. So much so that she was considered to be insane, and was sent to an insane asylum at age 13. She saw so much there that she should have never seen, and it only made her go even more crazy. Within the same year, she was taken out of the asylum, and was going to go back to the orphanage. However, she openly refused, and ran of into the Elyth Forest, which was very near the asylum.

There, she found a friendly woodcutter. He was unaware of her, though, so she was able to sneak into the cutter's cottage and browse her large selection of knives. Remembering the amazing rush she got when she beat up Eburndy, she wanted to feel it again. But, this time, with a sharper advantage. She took a hardly dull blade, and sliced up the woodcutter like he was doing a small wooden carving. Since she was able to assassinate him so quickly, no scream was let out. However, someone else was coming. She rushed behind a tree with the knife, and was planning another kill. Blinded in rage, she attacked the other person, without regarding who the person was. As she looked down at her bloody knife, a red and gold frilly dress caught her eye. Looking into it more, she broke out in fear. It was the Queen. She had just murdered the Queen of the strongest empire known on their planet. That would not be erased from her record easily. Panicking, she wondered what to do. She knew she would be killed if anyone found out. Without much other choice, she took off the Queen's large dress, and stashed a bunch of knives and food from the woodcutter's cottage in it. She saw what the woodcutter was making, and it was a fairly well crafted wooden statue of the Prince. It must have been some sort of birthday present for him, since his birthday was soon. She put that with all the other things in the dress, for no real reason in particular. With the idea that she was going to live in the woods for the rest of her life, she took the clothes off of the woodcutter, and stashed them as well. She carried the pretty heavy load off into the depths of Elyth, and even though it was very heavy, her determination to get out of the crime scene kept her going. She didn't want to die.

After a good long time of looking, she found a fairly home-y tiled structure just randomly built within an open area of the woods. She dragged her load in there, and laid back on it, taking out the wooden statue of the prince. She remembered how her friends were always swooning to the idea of them and the prince being together as a couple, considering how freakishly handsome he was. Diane did sort of the same thing, but she knew the chances of her meeting and falling in love with the Prince were very, very slim. Now, doubly so, since she had killed his mother. Still, she fell asleep to the idea of them living in peace.

Later on, many people had been visiting her, with the idea of her head being served to the authorities on a silver plate. They were hunting her down, and for a large sum of money. The more she killed, the higher her bounty was, and the more people would get if they killed her. Although, she was too good for them. Even if they had guns, they couldn't kill her. She still killed them with her petty hand knives. One soul in particular, though, went to her for suicide, and had so much survival material on him. Food, Water, Clothing, all fresh by the way, and a chainsaw. A murderer's favorite. Even though she felt sorry for absolutely no one, she actually was sorry for killing him, since he just wanted to help her. She didn't cut him up and eat him like she did with some of the others, but rather she used him like a life-size rag doll. She slept with him, kissed him, loved him a lot, even though his body was cold and rotting.

One night, a bundle of guys came out into the woods, unaware and completely wasted. They saw a pretty girl laying helplessly in her sleep, and they had their ways with her. They raped her, just to clarify. And they weren't merciful at all. All this pain she experience was not fun on any level, and they returned the night after in the same state as before, and were caught by the chainsaw.

From this, she was paranoid that it would happen again, and she never slept unless she couldn't help it.

A duo of hunters came for her, and had a new plan. One, to lure her out into the open by loving her, and treating her nicely, and another, to snipe her head. The lure go her outside and in range, and tried to lull her by touching her sexually. However, she remembered the night she got raped, and reacted the instant a bullet was fired. She knocked the lure out, and ran back inside her home. The sniper followed. She took the chainsaw, fired it up, and laid it in a room parallel to another one of the rooms, and the sniper entered that room, thinking that was where she was. but, alas, she was behind him, and she slit his throat.

She took the lure back inside, who was still out cold, and set up a scene that she read from a book the man with the materials gave her; Edgar Allan Poe's The Pit and the Pendulum. She tied him down and attached a large blade to the roof with a rope and pulley. He awoke next to the bloody head of his co-worker, and the enraged eyes of a teenage murderer. She kicked the blade back in forth so it would swing, and she slowly lowered the rope so it would cut through his stomach. Since it was so heavy, it snapped the rope, and just landed in his stomach. He was tortured a bit more, but eventually bled out.

The extent of my interest is in things that don't exist.

Or, at least, things that aren't in the basic man's senses
