*Riza began to stir. She slowly opened her eyes, and she began trembling, shivering as if she was very cold.*

Twister saw the book transform.

"......!

Uh, Rain, I know you need to talk, but look at this. Its a journal from the first rescue party!"

 

She waved him off. "I'm a slow reader. Maybe you should read it and explain to me later, if that's okay."

She quickly spun to see Riza up. "RIZA! You're okay!" she said joyfully, hugging her and stopped, confused by the party hat and shivering.

"Six, you seem like the best member to have a look at this. Do you mind?" she asked grimly. "Riza, tell him whatever herbs you need."

"Haha!" indeed i do "I said i was in the griffion war, ideed i was, the general infact. 1200 years ago too. After the war, the griffions were angry, so while i was in a train with my friends, they bew it up. i was battered and defeated, so they left me to die. Luna had found me afterward and revived me. Giving me immoratlity, black magic and these eyes, ear tufts and fangs and overall grim color. Ive been serving the royals ever sence."

 

"They sent me here to make shure no one dies, and so i can possibly defeat this evil wreached thing that brung us here."

"Why would Luna ever give a pony black magic? If I can remember that's the most dangerous type there is!" Rain looked betrayed. "Am I supposed to really believe she would ever give a pony THAT kind of power? It goes against everything the Princesses teach!"

She pressed her face against his. "Nopony will tell me what to do, General or otherwise."

as the arguing continued, the mist thickened, into a light fog

[Mephala 2,635]

"It would have been too obvious if my body was found. I don't think you'd risk it," said Rain. "Look, all I want to know is why Luna did that, okay? And it's not my fault you set up camp when I was in the trees! I'm not a spy."

The mist was getting thicker and Rain squinted. "What in Equestria is this?"

Twister heard the argument from afar, but focused on Riza.

"Hey Riza, you alright? Do you remember anything?"

as the arguing continued the fog thickened

"I can't see anything now! Shadow!" said Rain, annoyed. "Are you doing this?"

suddenly a shadow darted past rain, another one wisped past shadow

[Mephala 2,635]

"Ah!" yelped Rain, and she stumbled back. A tree root tripped her up and a sickening pain ran through her leg. She gave a little scream of pain, but didn't make any cry for help.

"Everypony! Be careful! Watch out!" she yelped, trying to stand but failing. 'Get yourselves out of here!"

Twister heard the argument from afar, but focused on Riza.

"All I remember is a flash of light, then... nothing."

Twister heard some noises from Rain.

"Sounds like they're trapped or something! You able to walk, Riza?"

"DON'T WORRY ABOUT ME!" screamed Rain, tears of pain streaming down her face. "GET OUT OF HERE! SAVE YOURSELVES!"

something hit rain in the face, upon further inspection, it was ice cream! another blob of ice cream hit shadow in the face

Twister heard some noises from Rain.

"Sounds like they're trapped or something! You able to walk, Riza?"

 

*Riza struggled to her feet*

"Yeah, I can walk."

[Mephala 2,635]

"Oh, no..." whispered Rain. "Oh no. Ohnonononono."

She turned around. "GUYS! HURRY! NOW! DISCORD IS THE KIDNAPPER! IT'S-she struggled slightly but it only hurt more-"JUST GET OUT!"

then just as soon as it appeared, the fog was gone, and there was an unconcious pony on the ground, it was a member of the first rescue team!
