gaming Fire Emblem

I'll be honest, I had never played Fire Emblem until the Ambassador 3DS release of the GBA version. I'm liking it, though! I'm still a bit partial towards Advance Wars, but I'll definitely be picking up Awakening.

That's really all there is to say on the matter.

Funny, I was gonna make a topic like this. lol

I love Fire Emblem, even though I suck at them. I've never beaten a single Fire Emblem (I have all but Radiant Dawn) because I usually start losing horribly in the last five or ten chapters. Replaying Sacred Stones now hoping to do better and I've actually learned there are some pretty easy ways to get money in the Tower of Valni's first floor so I'll never have to run out of weapons and money like in my last file where I couldn't get enough money compared to how much I used my weapons.

I'm on the Phantom Ship chapter in Ephraim's story.

I'm the type who can't stand losing even a single person when I play these types of games. If I lose even one, no matter how weak or insignificant they are, I have to restart the chapter/level so I can beat it without losing them. lol

Yeah, I love Fire Emblem. I've only ever played 3 though, but several times through. Played Fire Emblem (the first one released in the US,) The Sacred Stones and Path of Radiance. I've been wanting to play Radiant Dawn, but I heard it was a disappointment. Is that true?

...and no one seems to believe me, but Lucius is one of the best units I ever had. xD He could hold is own even against Negral.

Yeah, Lucius is a beast ^

I've played FE7 (just Fire Emblem here in America), sacred stones, and shadow dragon. FE7 was definitely the best, and I've played it extensively. Fun, challenging, great story and characters, it has everything :)

SS was okay. Story was a bit weak, but I liked some of the gameplay changes, and there were some pretty cool characters. Like myrrh. Cute little girl with wings (remember that I find winged girls to be quite sexy) that turns into a badass dragon that OHKOs things? Yes please.

SD was okay. It was fun, but the story was really lacking.

Signature now 99% less edgy!

I love Fire Emblem, especially the Tellius games(Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn). Sacred Stones wasn't that great to me though, the characters and world were nowhere near as cool as the Tellius games- I hope the new one is more like them.

Lucius is a good character, and radiant dawn is not a disappointment.

Oh yeah! I nearly forgot about the series though, it has been a while since I played it.

I've actually beaten all of the Fire Emblem games at least once. I played a competition against my brother. First one through all of the games won (yeah, we were crazy).

He beat me the first time, but I beat him the second time, because, for some strange reason, he was getting killed in Micaiah and Sothe's sections... Ahhhh... Good memories... B)

YES!!!!

I LOVE Fire Emblem, it is the most awesome, epic and amazing series of games ever <33

I became a fan in the beginning of 2003, when I got Sword of Seals (J) as a gift from my uncle. After that I started collecting and now I have: Gaiden, Thracia 776, Genealogy of Holy War, Mystery of the Emblem, Sword of Seals, Blazing Sword, Sacred Stones, Path of Radiance, Radiant Dawn, Shadow Dragon and an imported version of NMotE, sadly it it looks like it won't get translated ;__;

I can't wait for Awakening to come here! :D

I've only played (technically playing) Shadow Dragon. But it's a great game! I challenge myself by trying not to lose a single unit in the entire game in battle (the mandatory sacrifice near the beginning being the exception).

Fire Emblem Awakening was amazing! The ending is one of the few that actually made me shed a tear. Also the games graphics are very clean and nice looking on the 3DS.

I love Fire Emblem, in fact I think I've spent around $60.00 in DLC content for Fire Emblem: Awakening. I've only played Sacred Stones, Shadow Dragon, Path of Radiance, Radiant Dawn, and the newest one. Even bought the special addition 3DS for Awakening... >w<

Wow to be honest I think this is my favorite Fire Emblem so far. I especially like the fact that I can recruit characters from previous games and use them in Awakening. The only issue I really have with Awakening is the marriage system. It just seems pretty rushed like a Las Vegas wedding. Other than that the rest of the game is really enjoyable!

As for my favorite characters I would have to say Soren, Ike, Marth, Chrom, Luciana, Gaius, Nesala, Rayson, Lon'qu, Stahl, Harr, and Sothe.

I have the other Fire Emblems, I just haven't played them. I'm too busy with Awakening. Funny thing was, I played the Fire Emblems on an emulator when I was very young. I knew the titles, but everything was in japanese, so I never understood what was going on. I've looked up a lot of stuff since then and I can say that I absolutely enjoy playing them.

Yeah, that marriage system was so rushed.

I love Fire Emblem! If I had a 3DS, I would be playing so much of the new one. I hate being broke :(. I went back and beat Sacred Stones again a few weeks ago :). I think my favorite games are regular Fire Emblem for the GBA and Radiant Dawn. My favorite characters are Joshua and Nino :)
