Blast laughed a little at Crimson's statement.

"Nonsense I can manage just fi-" He stopped in mid-sentence upon hitting the ground, where he hurt his rib cage upon impact.

"Urgh!" Blast grunted. "I guess that alicorn knows a thing or two about making an effective escape." He commented, limping by Crimson's side. "Where are the others...?"

 

 

 

Crimson rolled his eyes at Blast's attempt to seem unhurt, before answering him. "they're not too far off, somewhere northwest of here I think, but It doesn't matter how far away they are, because we wont be walking back to them, especially with your injuries being what they are...so we'll have to teleport." said Crimson with a sigh before his horn began to glow with a red light, after a moment the pair vanished from the spot and appeared standing next to the rest of the group and only a few feet away from Willow, sitting under a nearby tree. Crimson notices the distracted looking mare and leans next to Blast's ear. "hmm...its that poor girl that Red saved from Orion...but she looks a little down...you should go get some medical attention, I'll try talking to her,,," said Crimson before patting Blast on the back and trotting next to Willow, a sharp toothed, yet friendly smile on his face. "hi there! How are you liking the group so far? They can be a bit annoying at times, but they're all pretty good ponies once you get to know them...my names Crimson by the way, Crimson Grinn. What's your name, miss?" asked Crimson kindly.

The afternoon sun descended beyond the hills and the moon began to rise. Willow grew sleepy, until somepony else approached her. "It's Willow," Willow said, surprised that these group members are being so kind to her: they despise her brother, why not her? She wasn't exactly complaining, but she found it odd.

"Thanks for the help, dude." He said to him as he walked past him. Blast then trotted up to Aphrodite. "Hey, Aphrodite. Sorry for leaving... again. Don't start calling me a moron like always." He joked. "Do you know anypony who knows something about medicine?"

"You might as well stay out in the woods.. you leave so much you practically live there!" Aphrodite said. "Medicine? I happen to know a little bit of it.. why? What's wrong with you? You sick or something?" Aphrodite asked expressionlessly, bored look on her face.

Night began to fall as Silver Heart caught sight of the others. As she had expected her injured leg had slowed her down. As she approached the others she noticed that there a few new faces among the group and that some of the old faces had acquired new injuries, if past experiences held true most likely because of another scuffle with Orion. Silver Heart approached Pavisa, "Hello Pavisa, it looks like the group has been busy while I was trying to catch up...what exactly has happened?"

Blast chuckled a bit and rubbed his side.

"No, not really." He said. "You know that alicorn guy? Well, me and a few others in the group ran into him in the forest just now. He escaped, leaving a giant shockwave and inferno in his wake. Unfortunately, I was caught in the crossfire..."

Crimson smiled. "really? Pretty name...your named after a tree huh? Well I have a sister who's named after a flower...but then again, a flower isn't exactly the same as a tree I guess...your brothers name is Orion, right? He doesn't seem like a bad guy...when he's not trying to kill me and call me a bandit or murderer, anyway...so, have you made any friends with any of the others yet?" asked Crimson, his slightly foolish side creepy up.

"You got attacked by him!? I'm surprised you're even alive! I think I have a medical kit in here somewhere.." Aphrodite said, digging around in her saddlebag. "What happened to you? And whose the new mare?" Aphrodite said, grimacing at Willow.

"Well, they're both plants, so they're related in a way," Willow said, smiling. "And yes, that's my brother. He's probably worried sick for me.. anyways, no, I haven't exactly made friends with anypony yet. Only the captain is an acquaintance."

"Oh, you'd be surprised on what kind of stuff I've gotten myself out of in the past." He said with a slight snicker. "Nothing major. Just a few bruises and internal burning. Nothing to lose your head over." He said, trying to sound tough. He then turned back to Willow. "Oh, her? That's the alicorn's sister, Willow. She'll be tagging along for awhile. Make her feel welcome when you've got the chance."

Crimson smiled. "hehe, I guess your right, after all, a flower is only a miniature tree I guess..." said Crimson with a chuckle. "and don't worry, you'll see your brother again soon enough, also, I know we seem like we hate your brother, but that's only because we're a bit frustrated with his little...outbursts...but I know its not his fault, its the litany corrupting him, but then again, his brotherly instincts could be a factor as well. Hehe...I know how he feels, I have a younger sister whom I protect as well..." said Crimson with a small smile before sighing heavily, seeming a bit worried about something.

"That's not it, he's protecting you because he loves you and wants to keep you safe, but being corrupted kinda makes him overdo it a little and start to threaten everypony he sees...so please, don't misunderstand the situation, trust me, he's not just doing it because of the litany..." said Crimson soothingly, putting a gentle hoof on her shoulder.

"You worry too much." Blast commented. He hoped he didn't offend Aphrodite by saying that. He was just joking around with her "She doesn't mean nay harm. She's just a bit... lost is all. We just need to make sure she's okay. Her brother is a bit of a loose cannon right now, and we have no idea what's come of him. We just need to make sure that Willow gets through okay until we eventually find her brother."

On the edge of Neighagra Falls, White Eclipse is in search of the ancient Litany scroll. He intends to use the scroll to find the answers to his past.

"So, this is where this scroll is said to be hidden?" Eclipse asked himself. "Seems rather weird to be hiding it in such a landmark. No matter. Once I find the Litany, then I can find the truth." He began to use his psychokinesis to use the rubble around him to create a bridge or walkway of a sort so he could progress to the bottom of the falls. Eclipse had only heard of the Litany being here. He had little knowledge of this scroll. All he knew was that it was a powerful relic of a sort, and that he would do whatever he could to find it.

Aphrodite looked doubtful. "I'm keeping my eyes on her, though. She better not be a sneak or I'll.. I'll.."  Aphrodite sighed. "Her brother must've put her up to something and she can backstab us anytime."

Pavisa turned as she heard Silver Heart approach, smiling slightly at the other mare.  "Another run-in with the alicorn...  I'm not sure myself, but the group has picked up a couple new bodies."

Tactic flexed his wings as he flew up to land in the tree above Willow, staring down at Crimson as he lands.  As the droll tactician sits down on the branch, he tilts his head slightly and speaks to Willow.  "I would not put undue thought into the opinions of this group on your brother.  Their views are in general clouded by past encounters.  It is difficult to judge another with blurry vision."

 

As he speaks, he turns his gaze back towards Willow and does something he hadn't done since joining up with the group.  Tactic smiled.  It was only a small grin, but it was there.

 "What, her?" Blast asked. "Highly doubt it. If you saw the way she acted back there, you'd be having second thoughts." He assured her. Willow seemed like a nice and innocent enough mare. He doubted that she'd attempt to betray in any way. If anything, he wanted to try to be friends with her and show her that they really don't mean harm.

 

Eclipse looked down from the falls to see the group coming from the forest.

"What the? What are they coming here for? Do they know of this Litany, too?" He asked himself. "I must know for sure." Eclipse made his way down the mountain and towards the group.

"Difficult to judge another with blurry vision..?" Willow muttered to herself confusedly, looking up at Tactic. She saw him smile: it was a nice smile, so she decided to smile back at him. (It's just Willow's thinking.. ._.) "Orion's just been acting strange lately. I never saw him attack anypony else before."

"Fine." Aphrodite muttered, going to her usual patch of grass in a sour mood and went to sleep.

Blast shrugged at Aphrodite's mumbling and just kept trotting forward. As Blast walked, he began to notice a white figure running in the distance towards them. He almost immediately recognized who it was.

"Oh no. Guys, watch out. Here comes trouble." He said.

White Eclipse ran up to the group and picked them all up with his psychokinesis. He was about to throw them until he saw Blast in the middle of it all.

"What's up, Eclipse?" He asked in a cocky matter.

Eclipse then dropped the group on the ground and sighed. "Not you again..."
Blast got up, rubbing his head. "Heh. Nice to see you, too." He joked.

After crawling, stumbling, flying and crashing his way through the forest, it would have been an understatement to say Blizzard was in a sour mood. When he finally managed to catch up to the rest of the group, he saw that some new pony had just levitated them all and then set them down. "Well before you all get caught up in meeting this new unicorn, a little help would be greatly appreciated!" Blizzard yelled at his companions as he slumped back to the ground, his broken bones, burns, and various bruises hurting like nothing he'd known before. While Blizzard was peeved that he had been left behind in the woods, he was at least glad his wings were more or less fine, just a few singed feathers.

 

Midnight had been sitting back quietly watching everything go on around him. First the arrival of the pony that must have been the alicorn's sister and the others with the exception of Blizzard Blitz, then that white unicorn shows up and levitates them all. Even though the unicorn had set them all down again, Midnight stood ready in case things went poorly, he figured he would be best suited to fight this unicorn since he also had a mastery of telekinetic magics. Midnight was only distracted when Blizzard had joined up with them, looking like he'd been dropped down a flaming cliff with his wings tied. "What happened to you? What did you find out? I want you to tell me everything while I work on fixing you up." Midnight told Blizzard before levitating his friend into the air and beginning to apply his leftover burn salve and setting splints for the broken bones as Blizzard told him all that had happened. Looking over at where Silver Heart stood with Pavisa, Midnight waved them over. "Hey Silver! You're a medic right? I may need some help here, Blizzard is pretty banged up to put it lightly." Midnight called over to Silver. All the while Midnight kept his guard up in case this newcomer, apparently named Eclipse, tried any more magic on the group.

Silver Heart stared at the unicorn that had lifted the group with his magic with disdain. "Pavisa, if you'll excuse me for a bit." She said in a tone that betrayed her annoyance. The medic approached Blizzard and started to inspect his wounds. "I should be able to help with most of this. What do you want me to start with?"

Pavisa groans slightly and nods at Silver Heart, staring at the newcomer.  Being picked up and dropped on bruised legs had served as a rude wake-up call, and she immediately disliked this unicorn.  She was staying quiet for now - there wasn't much an earth pony could do to combat magic - but she was ready to intervene if something where to happen again.

When the newcomer burst into the camp and picked up most of the party in a levitation spell, Tactic managed to avoid detection since he had been sitting out of view in the tree.  What the?  Acting before he even had a chance to process this new information, the tactician jumped from his perch to grab Willow, flaring his wings to lower her slowly and safely to the ground rather than letting the spell drop her.

 

Taking a moment to analyze the new unicorn, he quickly turned his attention back to Willow.  It seemed as though Blast knew the newcomer, and as such there would be time for a more proper analysis later.  There was something more pressing on the tactician's mind at the moment.  "Are you alright?"

Blast walked up to Eclipse.

"Don't worry, guys. Me and this guy know each other personally." He assured. He hoped that Eclipse wouldn't try to attack the group and least try to compromise with them.

"Why are you even here, Blast? Shouldn't you be back in Ponyville?" Eclipse asked with a disappointed expression.

"Well, actually, we've been on the hunt for this scroll called the Litany." Blast explained.

A surprised look came upon Eclipse's face. "You're looking for it, too??" Eclipse asked in a grumpy tone. "You're an earth pony. What could you possibly want with such a powerful entity?" Eclipse turned his focus towards the rest of the group. "Who is this lot?" He asked.

"Who're we? Who're you?" Aphrodite asked the suspicious stallion, narrowing her eyes. "What would you want with the Litany? Take over Equestria? Well, put a sock in it, because we're already on the trail!" Aphrodite said rudely to the stallion, mostly for payback for HIS attitude.

"Thanks," Willow said, blushing since somepony OTHER than her brother just saved her from a six foot fall. Of course, she was frightened. She could barely go down stairs without her brother's help! "I'm okay. Why did you do that?"

"Hmph. I'm glad you asked." Eclipse pushed Blast out of his way and walked up to Aphrodite. "I'm White Eclipse, a psychokinetic unicorn on the hunt for his past. I was frozen in carbonite years ago, but I was freed by Discord himself. I ultimately betrayed him after he set me free... but I can't remember a thing past that." He said, closing his eyes and lowering his head. "I've only heard about this Litany a few days ago. I plan to uncover it so I can use it to figure out the secrets to my past." Eclipse raised his head back up with angry eyes. "I won't let anything get in my way of doing so."

"Well, the basic stuff I can handle, but those severe burns and some of the broken bones, like his ribs, are a bit beyond me. I just want some advice on what to do with those, I should be able to handle the actual treatment." Midnight said to Silver as he popped Blizzard's dislocated leg back in place. 'At least Blizzard's wings are fine, he should still be able to fly after this even though I doubt he'll be walking normally for quite a while. And with the power this Orion guy had based on what Blizzard has told me, I'm glad nopony has died yet. Orion could probably kill us all if he really set his mind to it, though some of us would be able to put up a good challenge. And the there's this newcomer, this Eclipse. We'll have to see what happens with him, I just hope Blast knows what he's doing and doesn't upset this unicorn.' Midnight thought as he began cleaning out the cuts and stitching shut the ones he'd cleaned.
