I can't really choose any of the poll options because they are too narrow to cover all of what I want done. I'd just discuss with them why their point of view, although fair to have opinions, is indeed shallow and ignorant to the bigger picture.

Use points and arguments that'll make em feel stupid for suggesting something as ignorant and horrendous as genecide of an entire sub-culture.

Honestly, I could care less if someone is a Brony, I have plenty of other things I can talk about, it's when they hate on us that it bothers me. Reason is always my first go-to reaction to things like this, I even wrote my entire Research paper in high school on gender stereotypes, using the Brony community as the prime example.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinions on everything, if he thinks being a brony is wrong that's fine, but any act of violence on anyone based on their lifestyle is just wrong. Would be best to try to show him the error of he thinking the anything else, it may not work but much better the resorting to violence

*plant 'incriminating' pony merch among his possessions*

"Do you thing, Little Pony, Destroy Him..."

*fade into the shadows, reappear*

"Ooops.... wrong pony, huehuehue...."

*switch, then fade again*

My friend who is non-brony watched this and told me:

" I have a new idea for my persuasive speech in my AP class, It is to persuade the government for funding the executions of all bronies."

***I laughed in anger, sacarstically***

I would barely smack or reap his soul at that moment then but i have my limits so i dare not to do so.

Love and Tolerate!   *I didn't reveal that i am a brony* No one knows!

He lived in Huntington Beach, Southern California while i am living in (Not gonna reveal)

Ever notice evil bronies like you and me are utter cowards?

and that's okay (LOL).  You get happiness and sunshine bronies like Digi bronie prancing around with a t shirt going "i'm a bucking alicorn princess." but not us.

I blame sanity don't you?

My reaction? I think people who say that are immature morons. No one should be executed for watching a TV show, especially one that teaches morals. I seriously hope he was joking because if not, he's a moron. It's okay to like the show just like it's okay to not like the show, but wanting to execute those we do like it are disturbed, moronic, individuals. Just mention that you're a fan of the show, it should be an easy way to shut them up and if they continue being assholes, they're not really your friend.

I'd be fine for seeing people executed for watching tele tubies.  does that teach morals?

I welcomed mlp into my mind and what not cause well,

it's epic.    I can't deny that.  if it wasn't i'd probably still be a hater.

Its not that, we just know that while hacking the haters to death with a chainsword would be amusing, its not exactly the brony way is it?

its like having your hands tied... only its a pony glomping you, not rope.

I said, "especially one that teaches morals", which means that mlp does teach morons, but people shouldn't be executed for liking a show that doesn't teach anything. The point is, wanting to execute people for liking a show, is childish and disgusting. And I really hope you're joking about being fine towards fans being executed for enjoying teletubies.

What about jersey shore?  (LOL)  is there any show where execution is an acceptable solution?  Look I understand I have to be on my super best behavior here.  and you know what I am.  But not that long ago i think a good one half the forum was the anti broney crowd.

I know cause i Asked.  There are shows i'd like to see fade out of existence,

and if you think your gonna shame me by saying "stupid and chilidish."

buddy i'm a MLP pony forum LOL,

I could give to figs about coming off as either or.

Some kids shows over here look like they were produced by adults high on LSD or something... they just look so damn creppy. Mr.Blobby for example. Who the fuck thought that thing was good for kids?

I feel that the population of bronies in California is lesser than other Eastern Coast state.

I wouldn't say that, California is a big state I myself live in Southern California and I see people with pony shirts every and now and then and there are MLP baloons sold at the grocery store I work at. Though the pony merch I have seen in stores hasn't exactly been very good, I do have a Hot Topic nearby and they tend to be known for having some pretty good pony swag but most of the stuff I buy these days is online not because I am afraid of what anyone will think but because it is hard to find shirts in my size and basic convenience.

It would be extremely difficult for me not to show emotion in that case, don't get me wrong I wouldn't flip out but would probably shake my head and sigh in contempt before walking away. I don't think he was serious when he talked about executing bronies but that is pretty pathetic even for a trolling attempt.

I really really really dont think he is serious... i mean executing people and be serious about it is kinda messed up. I doubt the teacher will approve of him approving of executions. Dont wanna sound like a dick but your friend is iggnorantand he needs to see the light that is MLP FiM. If he ends up doing a speech about promoting killing, you should make a speech about why MLP FiM is so amazing, ive seen some good videos of people on youtube doing it, id do a speech on MLP FiM in my english class the second its an option

I take no such threat seriously. I know for a fact that they are just passive aggressive insults from ignorant, aggressive people and are really just pathetic. It's a rule of thumb that anybody insecure enough to say such abhorrent things lacks the means to actually do anything about us.

In response to the people who say these kind of things about the fandom, I just have one thing to say:

Lean back in my chair and laugh at the obvious troll, and his pathetic attempts to bother me. I'd also laugh at the fact that such a thing not only bothers people, but a decent number of them.

It wouldn't be a sarcastic laugh though, it would be legitimate, real laughter.

aggressive Christians.

Well, that explains the whole thing. Being an agressive Christian makes one religious and when one is religious...prepare for trouble.

This is why some Christians refuse to get into fandoms. Because of their "religious self". I myself am a christian, but I do not judge others just because they are a part of a certain fandom.

I just simply leave at that time with my laugh of anger.

Anyway thanks for commenting.

It seems our brony fandom not yet defeated any hater , we still have a long way to go.

I'd genuinely laugh, such a silly idea... Then I would flip his position from aggressor to defence fairly fast with a little logic. Of course I wouldn't do it in anger, just for my own enjoyment. I think that it would be fun to see someone struggle to defend or justify this sort of irrational hatred. I wouldn't necessarily convert then, but I would try to show them how ridiculous their position is.

Just ignore it.

It's just unwarranted reactions. If people don't like this fandom, they're entitled to their own opinion.

However, they won't actually go through with the death threats, it's their aggression talking.

Anti-Bronies are still strong, they even in somewhat still overwhelming us.

Aggressivism is the hardest field for persuasion and intimidation.

I believe it was someone here that said that faith wasn't the problem, but rather fundamentalism was. The friction is caused by the groups that won't change with the times(I've seen some really hardcore neo-conservative sites where even the WOMEN are brainwashed into thinking it's their duty to be a housewife and serve a man. It's pretty disheartening)

As for the OPs friend, I'm pretty sure the professor would call security for fear of him being unstable if he starting giving a speech about committing genocide on a fandom.

Well it's the haters loss missing out on a great show: I'd probably be offended by the comment but wouldn't show my emotion and wouldn't take it too seriously and I would try and just forget about it and move on
