sudden realizations?

Have you or your friends had sudden relizations that ended up as a discussion or made you think?

I have been into a lot of wierd discussions about such, and want to see if you guys have had some cool ones.

examples: if people get a lot of children in poor countries, don't they make it worse?

if call of duty is common for kids, isn't mlp for adults?

bad examples though, I can't remember the good ones at the moment.
