Automatic Messages/Notication Updates

I've been wondering for quite some time now. Until around three days ago, my messages and notifications have been updated automatically without needing to refresh the site. Now I have to refresh the site everytime I want to check, is there any way to get it back to how it was before?

I've been having the same problem. It's really getting kind of annoying, having to F5 to check for messages and replies.

I'm not aware of a way to fix this, it is a technical issue of some sort that has persisted for a bit now.

 

I believe the staff are working on it, but not being on the staff I am not aware of the progress or nature of the issue.

 

So sorry, theres no way to fix it yet thats known.

This is a reoccurring error that's been happening off and on for months, and it's something to do with the site itself, not anyone individually. Lavo continues to fix it whenever it stops but, as is clear by this point, a method of fixing it on a permanent basis isn't possible (at the moment). 

 

I'm honestly rather confused as to why it continues to surprise some of the regulars, given how frequent it is xP
