Any good conventions?

I'm looking for some good conventions to go to, to keep myself occupied during the year. I've been to two this year. Manchester central comic convention and BUCK 2013. If anybody went to the summer sun celebration the day before the main BUCK convention that was in the same place as Manchester central comic convention. They were about 2 months apart so it gets quite lonely. Anyway, back to the point. Does anybody know if there are any happening early in 2014? I live in South Yorkshire, also it needs to be somewhere I can get using public transport... Train/bus ect...?

Well if you have the time, money and effort, you could go to the MCM London Comic Con. It's on all this weekend and is £10 on the door. It's every May and October on the first weekend of the Half term holiday. You could maybe do a day trip if you live in South Yorkshire but it would be a bloody long day. I think there's a Japan one in London as well but I know next to nothing about it.
