Do you feel the elements of harmony deal out an appropriate  level of justice on what their zapping?

 

Meaning, are they idiot proof?

 

Let me explain, the EOF returned nightmare moon back into luna.

They stoned discord,

and they snatched away sun set shimmer's abilities.
 

 

Is that twilight guiding the elements or do the elements have a internal hard drive if you will?

 

Meaning if twilight was as smart as derpy and blasting with the other 5 in tow the same thing would happen?

 

i mean if that was true the elements of harmney should (they aren't and i blame poor writing) by any one who embodies that element.

 

i mean if the elements choose how much to punish why should the wielder matter so long as they full fill the requirements? yay, nay?

Seeing as Celestia and Luna also turned Discord to stone, it may be safe to say the EoH know how much punch to pack. It may also be that Nightmare Moon wasn't turned to stone because Twilight was new to friendship and the Elements, reducing the effect. We know that wielders are needed, but not why. I think that the EoH are inert unless activated by ponies with resonating characters and the spark of friendship. It may be that once the magic is activated the Elements take care of the rest, but I may be wrong.

I'm not exactly understanding what your asking. But, the wielder doesn't exactly matter the thing is their Elements are connected to their personality. So, fulfilling their requirements is only if they are needed.

well that's the way it should have been.

 

but if you see when them main 5 and spike tried to blast discord they began to activate on everyone but spike, despite spike easily embodying loyalty.
