Canterlot Wedding, yay or nay?

Well, it's probably my all time favorite episode, or up there, so I'd say it's a yay.

But really, it was a charming episode. The pacing was pretty steady, the music was fantastic, Animation was impressive, and overall emotion was effective.

Yay! This Day Aria is one of the most beautiful songs in this show and it's really great episode! The only problem I have with this is... in my opinion Cadence and Shining Armor is rather boring couple

Yay indeed! That was one of my most favorite episodes! Getting to meet Twilight's brother, awsome new songs, a cool battle! Magic and flying and love and...gah! *poofs*

What makes the episodes for me is Chrysalis' character really. There are some things that are off about the episodes, mostly things about what exactly Chrysalis had planned. Either she's not the best strategist or the plan when totally awry and she decided just to wing it from there. I tend to think it's more a case of things not going according to plan; it's not unusual for that sort of thing to throw people off.

 

Still it's Chrysalis that really sold the episode for me. The way she steps on the ponies helping with the wedding preparations and crushed Twilight. For a creature that relies on the emotions of others, at the very least as a source of power, Chysalis sure doesn't care about anypony's feelings; I love it . Definitely my favorite villain.

Ah yes, this episode was a very interesting episode to me. With plot twists and shock endings; it's truly one of the better episodes out of the series.

 

It has its flaws but I think it's outweighed by the positives.
