Alright, well I came to a decision faster than I expected, so in retrospect it was probably kind of a waste of time to ask you to reserve a spot for me, but whatever. Oh, and I still don't really care about the location, but I guess I'd prefer Vanhoover.

 

Lost Knowledge (Age is going to be several years younger to fit better. Maybe 26, because for some reason that number is sticking in my head.)

 

Backstory: A scholar, explorer, and author who specializes in mythology/archaeology and magic objects. He only just finished getting his doctorate in archaeology from Pranceton University a few months ago, though he was conducting work at the same time even when he was still studying. He grew up in Ponyville, and still lives there when he's not exploring or conducting research in the field (although that isn't very often).

Two years ago his fiance, Birdsong, was murdered while he was away conducting research. He has always blamed himself for not being there to protect her and it haunts him to this day. Largely because of this, he has a very strong urge to protect and take care of those around him. He also has a tendency to be naturally drawn to ponies in whom he sees traits that remind him of her.

I like the idea of the backstory, but do you mind changing it a bit? I'm not too sure having a prior fiance fits in well with an RP about finding your soul mate.

 

Also, could you add in a bit about how he ended up in Vanhoover? Like maybe a prior event that led him there?

If that happened I would feel bad for the person you were already paired with. And anyway, it's up to you. Although it's not like I never have the chance to act all romantic and stuff around you anyway

 

But yeah, really I'm fine either way, I suppose. The reason I originally asked is because I thought you might want to, since you were the one who led me here to begin with. Just do whatever you want. I can roleplay just fine with pretty much anyone. 

 

Of course, it would be nice if we actually got to do a fair amount of roleplaying with each other for once. So I guess I'd say do it, if it's up to me.

The only truly 100% spot left open right now is a slot for the star pendant, which already has a male pony. I'm pretty sure has already turned down a dual male partnership, however.

 

The only other two spots after that are both subject to change, and as such I can't give a clear response for them yet. As for right now, I'm fairly certain another male pony is out of the question.

 

Also, I'm sorry to say, I'm not too partial to your writing capabilities. I'm afraid I'll have to respectfully decline.

I think she'll find Lost isn't always the easiest stallion to deal with himself. Granted, his slightly altered backstory will probably help in that regard. Ordinarily he has a tendency to get kind of creepy about comparing mares to his dead fiance. But of course, she doesn't exist in this reality, so it's not an issue.
