technology How to make Luna Game-type sounds?

Sorry if this is in the wrong section

 

You know all those weird distortions that were put on the ponies' vocals in several parts of the Luna Games (the Fluttershy voice clips and the creepy remixes)? Does anyone know how to produce those kinds of distortions? I especially want to know how to recreate that one jumpscare sound--which, if you don't know, is actually a heavily distorted Fluttershy clip.

You'd probably be better off in the creative resources section for this. I'm sure those guys will know how to edit the doo-hickeys to make some pony sounds.
