Pegasus, where are your parents?

Seriously, if you watch every episode, you'd notice that we never see Fluttershy or Rainbow Dash's parents. So my question is, are all Pegasus who are born from other Pegasus abandoned? The only time we do see a Pegasus with their parents is the Cakes son. Other then that, Pegasus' parents seem to leave them shortly after birth (another good example is Scootaloo, who again, we never see her parents, yet we see Apple bloom and Sweetie Belle).

Actually, we did see Rainbow Dash's parents in Games Ponies Play. As for Scootaloo and Fluttershy, we will have to wait and see.

Ya, that is true, but that's the only time we see the dad isn't it? So would that mean that they're raised till old enough to take care of themselves, and then left? Dang it, now my questions are growing.

Yes, Rainbow's parents were in, "Games Ponies Play."

As for Fluttershy and Scoots, their parents haven't been shown yet. :c Hopefully Season 4 has them in store!

They're all born like Athena. Pop right out of their dads or moms head. :comeatus:   

Or maybe we just haven't seen their parents because they haven't had time for a parent episode. Maybe Season four ((Hopefully)) Has (a) some parent episode(s)

so far of the mane 6 only Fluttershy and Applejacks parents have yet to be seen at all.

Something I've been wondering for a while. Sure we saw Rainbow Dad in GPP, but even then I don't know if it counts, I've heard that he was added as an afterthought and is actually a recolored BG Pony
