He turned to the Meloetta Gijinka that was talking to Nik had suddenly took interest to him and his Swanna friend, though he quickly fastened his mask back onto his face as soon as he was done eating his fill at the table.

 

"I'm Dusk and this is Amaya...though I would love to stay and...continue to hear music with lunch...I'm afraid that I have a dorm to find...I all the way in Dorm 2 if any of you....decide to come and seek me out....have a good rest of the evening and...it was a pleasure meeting ALL of you..."

 

Dusk said as he floated up from his chair grabbing his tray in the process to put away. He gave a polite bow while mid-air and took off towards the cart where you place your finished plates, bowls, and trays. Dusk phased through the nearby wall and found himself in the corridor outside of the Cafeteria. He floated much more eagerly and with more energy now that the day was passing by the hour. Soon it would be night and that was when all the nocturnal people get restless. Nevertheless he was excited to see where he would be residing for the rest of his school days here as he continued towards the Dormitory thanks to the countless of maps plastered in the hallways.

Darius taps a finger to his chin, his elbow resting in his other hand.  "A troubling revelation...  You don't suppose the little fellow is nervous about the new students arriving, do you?  And do you think we ought to have the students keep an eye open for him as well?  Maybe not the new arrivals, but some of the older students that have shown themselves trustworthy?"

 

The Delphox spreads his hands in a shrug after his question, shutting his eyes as he thinks.  "Though, it would likely help to come up with some kind of plan rather than searching blindly..."

"Transform is somewhat useful" Nik said, trying to find benefits in the move. His version was heavil corrupted and actually switched bodies with a foe, a useless ability since being in a new body crippled you until you understood how to work it. "I read science books" Nik answered, having read nothing but science for a long time

 

@,@, @@SleeplessSketch, @, Damon nodded to Dusk "Thanks, anyone got a request." He said a bit sarcastically to the group, Kari looked at Dusk then Amaya "Well it's nice to meet you Dusk and you Amaya." she said as she finished a spicy Poffin "Yum spicy." she said grabbing one of Damons poffins.

Nik didn't catch the sarcasm and raised his hand. "It'd be nice if you could play Gloomy Sunday" Nik said

"How is it useful? If you think it's useful then why don't you show me? If you've learnt it that is." Joshu asked Nik. Joshu hummed a meaningless tune to himself. He looked over at Kari and said, "You haven't talked much. Is there something on your mind?" After he asked the question he then got the book on Unova Pokemon out and began to read it.

Nik's anger flared. Was that fool implying that there was something he did not know?! No one decided that but him.

"Hehehe, sure" Nik said, a wicked smirk crossing his face. His fist began glowing with white energy before the Smeargle slammed it into his own chest. Nik continued grinning, despite the ugly bruise that was beginning to form on his pale skin. His tail then pointed right at Joshu, glowing brightly.

"TRANSFORM!" Nik roared, the glow at the tip of his tail becoming a beam that reached Joshu quickly. Seconds later, they had switched bodies. While Nik felt like he was covered in a rubber glove, he was sure that Joshu felt worse, considering the fact that Nik's old body had a brutal bruise on it.

"So, what do you think of my version?" Nik asked, his voice coming out slurred since he had no clue how to use Joshu's body

Joshu noticed Nik's face turn angry for a split second before he was pulled out of his own body and into Nik's. 'This is not how I thought it would turn out. Although I did goad him into doing it ...' Nik's body felt weird to Joshu. He now had this appendage that sprouted from his back and when he glanced back he saw that it was waving around wildly. 'That must be the tail.' He then noticed pain when he bent forward. He looked down at his chest and noticed an ugly bruise forming.

 

"What did you do to me?" Joshu asked Nik, who was now in his body. Joshu slurred his sentence a bit as he was still adjusting to Nik's body.

"My version of Transform is...different" Nik said, flashing between red and green as his body adapted. "It switches bodies. Great parlor trick but useless in battle" Niki explained, shaking his pelvis as if there was still a tail. "You can barely fight in someone else's body and even if you get used to it, your mind starts warping after an hour" Nik groaned, half his body green, the other red

When Nik's new body started to flash red and green Joshu almost laughed before he realised that his tail was sketching different pictures. His body is still trying to adapt to him.

"It's a great parlor trick but useless in battle .... your version is that's true. OH! Now I see where your coming from." Joshu realised that his body was starting to slow down shake-wise as he finally adapted to the body. Joshu inwardly groaned as he gave a final shake and sat down in Nik's chair.

"Well, can you get back into your own body then?" Joshu asked. His speech was still slurred.

Nik answered by stretching out his arms and yelling "TRANSFORM!" The light flashed again and they were back in their respective bodies. Nik hissed as he felt the ugly bruise on his chest. Bad idea in retrospect. He quickly used Slack Off to heal the damage. Once he was done healing though, he was panting like a dog and hanging low, exhausted. Like most of his moves, Slack Off didn't work perfectly. While it healed his body, using Slack Off ravaged his stamina

'That was an unpleasant experience.' Joshu returned to his own body in a flash of bright light and panted heavily.

"That was very unpleasant. Why did you do that anyway?" Joshu noticed everyone else was looking at him and Nik but Joshu didn't care. At least he was back in his body. He used Relic Song and quietly hummed to himself. He could feel his hair change from green back to his usual red. 'That's better.'

@, @, Damon looked surprised "I was being sarcastic but okay." he said as he started to play the requested song, he had heard the song before and is okay at playing it, Kari looked over at Joshu "Nothing much just, i'm kinda worried, but it's nothing." she said hugging herself.

Joshu swore he could feel a tail at the back of him. He turned around just to check and was glad that there was nothing there. "Eh? You're worried? Worried about what?" Joshu knew that she said it was nothing but he was concerned for his friend. He looked over at Nik and saw that he was still recovering from whatever his version of Transform was.

"I did that...to prove...that I know most moves" Nik panted, still greedily gulping in air. "Huff, huff, there should be...a move to restore stamina" Nik said, barely able to move. If there was such a move, with Nik's luck it would reopen wounds. After all, if Slack Off shot his stamina, a stamina restoring move would wreck his health

Nik added the lyrics, singing in high, pretty voice. The lyrics did not befit his happiness

His eyes went wide when he head Nik sing though. To Joshu, singing was everything. Well, most things. But he always valued singing over instruments anyway. Nik sounded excellent when he sang. Even though the song was a sad one, Joshu noticed a smile creep upon Nik's face.

"Recover just restores physical health" Nik said, having finished up his song. "The problem is that if I use any health restoring move, my stamina goes down the drain to compensate" Nik said before quoting something he had heard a long time ago from a powerful, rogue Sceptile gjinka. It was a mantra he told himself whenever he thought of trying a healing move in battle.

"A shame you can't do for your stamina what you did for your arm, your strength is dropping fast" Nik remembered the Sceptile saying after he had regenerated a lost arm.

Razor Grass looked up to him and replied "Oh the berry garden is absolutely free! Its, great, right? I wonder if I can take one of them to eat, or something." She loved to eat mago berries, and also pecha and perism. Those were all her favorites! "If you want to go over there, I can go back, or maybe we can go find like.. a teacher and ask! Might be kind of weird to go to a principal though to ask on the first day, he-or she could have other more important stuff to deal with." Maybe there's like.. a teacher around. Razor looked over at one of the walls and saw a sign with an arrow pointing to where the library is. "Hey! There's a library if you want to go there. That sounds fun too!" I could maybe get a good book to read for the room.

Lolita was in the room with her beloved Koh. "I love this school!" She was jumping around the room, and still hadn't organized her area yet. "Its got a garden, and a library, and lots and lots" she took a breath "and lots of PEOPLE!" Aren't you just super excited to get to meet all the people? I mean like there's new students and old students and nice ones! Lots of nice ones! I mean there could be mean ones too but I'm not worried about them. Oh and guess what else! We have a ROOMMATE!" Lolita was jumping around the room now. "Thats going to be AWESOME!"

"Well we could do that. We have some Leppas, I grabbed some Lansats... How about a Pecha berry and an Aspear berry to finish it off?" He said as he picked both. Even if they weren't used in the poffins, he could still re-plant them. As long as the bushes were in the correct areas, the staff didn't mind. "Nice and tangy poffins... That's making my mouth water already." Rune said with a chuckle.

Synthia was happy that he was happy, picking up her basket. She nodded and shifted her weight because she didn't know where the mixers were, but she didn't care because she was happy and safe. Happy and safe had not been an applicable status for her in a long time.

"Ouch. that must be tough to handle if you can't use any health-recovering moves at the price of your stamina. I'm afraid i can't help you there." Joshu stood up and picked up his book.

"Something bad's going to happen back home? Do you know anything about that?" Joshu asked of Kari. He looked over at Damon and sat back down.

"Yeah I've heard about Summer Paradise." Joshu answered Damon.

"Oh!  I was there earlier after cleaning the gym...  I can show you where it is."  The Marowak boy smiles, shutting his eyes.  "If I've been somewhere once I can find it again pretty easily...  Plus, I kinda liked the library."

The sun began to fall all the more majestically as it neared the evening, Dusk was basking in the orange hues of the sunlight that peeked through the windows of the hallway as he continued floating towards the dormitory. Dusk couldn't help but think about who he would be bunking with, oh the possibilities were endless and he was absolutely ecstatic about it. Dusk had arrived in the dormitories and began to search for his room, since it was Number 2 it should be in the west wing of the Dorms. Dusk floated there eagerly and had finally arrived at his door and from the sound of things there were certainly others inside as well.

 

"Going through the door is so boring...maybe I can make a...ghostly entrance~"  He thought to himself feeling slightly mischievous, hopefully they were good sports about a little trick here and there. Dusk decided to float upwards and phase into the ceiling and in doing so snuck around from above and ultimately phased through the ceiling of his room. There he saw a rather perky and uppity Skitty girl showing herself to be just as excited and with her a very relaxed and laid back Wailord guy. Oh how the variety pleased his expectations.  He stuck his body out from the ceiling a bit more floating in the air as he adjusted himself in a laying position suing his elbows and arms to hold up his head from his cheeks and chin.

 

"Pssst...did you know this room is haunted..?" Dusk said out from above as he smiled under his skull mask.

Rune walked towards the kitchen, motioning for Synthia to follow him. He entered the kitchen. It was deserted at the moment. Nobody was cooking or making pokeblocks at the moment, so it wouldn't take a terribly long time. He powered up the mixer and hefted a couple of bags of poffin base in to the mixing bowl. He finished prepping by putting some milk and water in to the bowl and waited for Synthia to come in.

"Simmer down, pau." Kohola said, "I'm sure this..." Koh looked at the room assignment paper. "Dusk... Fella' will be a nice guy." Koh sat up and opened the window, letting in a cool breeze. He chuckled. "You know I don't get excited much, at least in comparison to you, considering how your such a great big ball of energy." He said as he picked up Lolita and gave her a hug.

 

Koh looked up and saw a Duskull Gijinka protruding from the ceiling. "Well aloha! You must be Dusk, am I right?" He said, dropping Lolita gently on the ground.
