I would prefer this not to happen...

 

I don't have much of an opinion on who plays the 13th doctor, but I would love to see how excited the doctor is when he finds out he's a ginger.

13th? sure, assuming he dies fully first episode.. otherwise, that'd be the dullest Doctor Who ever...

 

But given the stigma of the number 13.. bloop in, and dies as soon as he sits up, regens to someone actually entertaining again.. that could be fun.

 

No offense, but IMHO cage is a horribly BORING actor.. he's just.... I dunno, boring.. Its like he's not even human, but rather a robot or something..

And third...I'm sorry to say but Nicholas Cage is a terrible actor. He'd sooner kill of Doctor who than do it any good.

There are plenty of film actors who have had television roles. 

Also,

And most often it ruins their career in one field or the other, hence most don't do it :P

contractual obligations are a pain...

 

except NPH, he's good anywhere he goes for some reason...
