I love this show! I'm so glad it's caught on and is super popular now because it really is a damn good show. I want to get a hold of the comics and read them, some of my friends have them and they say that they're also really great.

I've got the first comic and it is nothing like the show . I enjoyed reading through the first comic but I prefer the show myself.

 

Meh I prefer the reverse, but perhaps its because I haven't watched the whole show or just that initial disappointment kinda made me like the show less.

 

Well on the bright side I won't have the show's plot kinda spoiled for me since they are almost NOTHING alike!

Yeah, that's true. Even though I only have the first comic I can see how things would be very different if the series was based around the comics. Heck, we'd be losing a crucial character within the first episode!

I would choose Rick because he is a good leader overall and doesn't make decisions without groups insight first.

 

Daryl, probably. Rick cant make hard decisions (Or he takes to long to make them), Shane is insane (Can make hard decisions but would rather go with the voilent soluttion rather than a peaceful one) and Carl is just a kid.

I would go Rick, Daryl isn't a good leader, more of a solo guy that's just part of the group. Not to say hes not compassionate

Its definitely worth watching, its not one of the silly "Lets charge in and kill everything" sort of zombie series. Its nitty, gritty and portrays the apocalypse of brain eaters very well. Plus, the characters are awesome especially Daryl who is king of the badasses.
