The Poniverse Newsletter

As some of you might now, we started a project not too long ago; a newsletter with information about Poniverse and its sites, as well as some other enjoyable things for you to read and look at. The newsletter is thought you give you information about recent and future changes that you might have missed reading about here on MLP Forums or which you maybe not even knew about. With sections about Poniverse, MLP Forums, Pony.fm, Equestria.tv, The Last Stand of Harmony, PoniArcade, featured content and more, we try to make the newsletter as interesting as possible for you.

We just released the 2nd issue for the newsletter. Hopefully you will like it, however there is always room for improvements. Therefore, we would like to hear your opinions on this. If you have any suggestions on how the newsletter can be improved, please tell us below in a post. Sadly, the 2nd issue has been delayed now a couple of days because the staff has been busy and also because of the recent crash of Poniverse. We apologize for this.

The Poniverse Newsletter team consists of:

@Jokuc - project leader, writer
@~Chaotic Discord~ - writer
- writer

- writer
@Harmonic Revelations - interviewer

@Artemis - Assist
@nlaq - developer

**If you find any errors or incorrect information in the newsletter, please img-2192711-1-6hUJL.png

**Some of you may have noticed that I'm now project lead. Dawn Rider decided to step down from the position and hand it over to me for time related reasons.

**Because of the recent crash, Issue 1 is down. We will bring it back as soon as possible.

You should totally interview me. It would be the best thing ever. Though it would blow up the forums due to my coolness it would be awesome. Oh and you should also interview Scootalove and Psyche Clops. Though the latter would probably also blow up the forums...

Also you need to make a segment on all of the reasons why Luna is indeed best pony.

...pssh, it's an awesome newsletter.

I'm glad to see the newsletter project being actualized - I always thought it was a wonderful idea. I look forward to future issues to come. :)

Lolwut? And interrupt me from my private clopping time? I don't think so.

On the serious side, I hope I won't be so busy if I do get interviewed. And I hope not to embarrass myself. Honestly, that's what's holding me back from accepting an interview more than any ither reason. :P

Woot, this really made my morning, finding not only the newsletter and reading through it, but seeing my art featured in the article at the end.  I couldn't keep myself from loading Paint Tool SAI and getting back to drawing.  In short I'm pretty stoked right now.  Thanks everypony.

Well, this was a surprise to see in my messenger, I never thought my work would pop up in a newsletter.   :P

I think I speak for a lot of artist in a lot of different fields when I say - it makes us so happy when people appreciate and enjoy our work.

It defiantly motivates us to do better and put more out there. Weather you be a writer, musician, or visual artist, you can't deny that you like the complements. lol

Thank you~

OMG thank you for this honor. I didn't expect my etched plaque to be included in anything. This is so cool. I did a Fluttershy jewelry box too but I don't remember if I had submitted it on here or not. I will be doing more pony etching's soon. Right now I am working on a 3D RainbowDash. I'm hoping it turns out real nice. :P

Now that I'm all caught up on all 4 issues (hadn't read issue 3 or 4 until tonight), I gotta say that so far, I'm very pleased with the newsletter.  It's a fun little tool for the community and a nice way to keep us all connected and up-to-date on site news and other miscellaneous items, such as artwork.

Now speaking of artwork, I do have a suggestion.  Jokuc, you've done a commendable job so far of finding art to feature in the newsletter.  As I understand it, Lugi is reviewing music from Pony.fm, and his first reviews/features in issue 3 were very good if I do say so myself.  But I think it would be really nice if you could maybe find someone to read and select fanfictions written by members of the community.  Now I know that as a writer myself, I probably don't sound too good suggesting this.  But I assure you, this isn't about me; like you said Jokuc in issue 4, a great function of the newsletter is to feature new artists and newer members, and I wholeheartedly agree.  That's why I think that it's only fair that an effort should be made to feature the work of some of the authors on this site.  I know that, depending on the fic, reading them can take quite a while, but for the newsletter's purposes the reviews themselves probably don't have to be that long, at least no longer than those that Lugi wrote for the music he reviewed in issue 3.  Heck, if the reading process takes too long, I could even see fics only being featured every other month.  But I certainly think and hope that it might be doable to find someone to read and review fanfiction written on this site.  I myself will volunteer if no one else can be found; I've been reading fics for awhile now and have a pretty discerning eye, so hey, if you want to call me up, go right ahead, I'm sure something could be worked out.  Hope this suggestion helps, and keep up the great work guys!  :muffins:

Thank you. Bringing in fanfiction to the newsletter is something I have wanted to do, however we have not really had anyone who has read through a bunch of fanfics to then review them. The problem is usually that it is quite hard to get the team to work on the tasks since communication has been an issue. I've actually already had 2 people asking to help in the newsletter, I'll check up on the team if anyone is willing to do a fanfic section. I will get back to you when I can, I've been very busy lately.

As said, the 4th issue is now out for you who do not read your email.
