Gale has quickly turned from "Asshole" to "Extremely ignored". It's like he's a background pony that the fandom has made up a personality for XD

Yeah, but where's the fun in that? If anything, you should steer the roleplay in a way that gets him to learn this for himself. That's how Beacon works in the anime. Friendly pokes here and there, but for the most part leave it to them.

Gale's arrogant nearly to the point of stupidity, but that's just it. Nearly. He knows (most of) his limits and isn't going to go headlong into a fight against like a dozen King Taijitu. But yea, he's still pretty arrogant and some character development may be in store for him.

Ah well ya know. That's easily interpreted as, "he's been like dirt to me". Not sure how to really explain it, but "I don't care if he treats me like dirt" (Or whatever it was) can kind of be interpreted as past tense, which is what Gale took it as. 

 

EDIT: It would actually be present progressive I believe, not past tense.

Friendly reminder that Lie Ren was able to defeat a King Taijitu in the show. Admittedly it did drain his aura, but it CAN be done by a non-teacher.

NOw all I can imagine after Gale said "How hard could it be?" is a hard cut to him in like a war scene in a trench and just screaming at his comrades to do things and none of them are listening and they're all dying. That also happens to be what Gale might be thinking right now.
