searching Adventures in Durian Region (Pokemon Adventure RP) REDUX

I decided to remake my Pokemon RP with a style similar to Bard's Ever Grande War RP, just because I think the system works very well and thought I would try to replicate it.

 

RULES: 

 

 

1. General RP rules (No godmodding, no NSFW, etc)

 

2. No ponies, this is a human pokemon RP.

 

3. Do not manipulate other people's characters without their consent.

 

4. I will be controlling all NPCs and wild Pokemon. If a minor character like a mart clerk pops up, feel free to take over for them for a little bit

 

5. Romance and the like is allowed if you want, but keep it SFW please.

 

6. Since this apparently isn't a widely known rule (*cough sarcasm cough*), you must have good grammar to be able to join. Unless you are joining from the last RP, please put the number of this rule in your app.

 

 

And I think that's it. When you enter an area, I'll be telling you what the area is like and what kind of Pokemon are there. This is a brand new region and stuff so you can't say you already know what's on a route. 

 

I will be choosing pokemon through a random number generator.

 

When applying with a character, please give the name, general appearance, personality, and back story (optional since it's kind of going to be made throughout the RP) I'll make my character soon.

I wear a white, short sleeved dress shirt and a grey waistcoat over it and a blue tie, and I wear black jeans and a pair black converse sneakers. My eyes are stark blue, and they stand out a lot. 

 

Oh alright then. What are you like then? Could you tell me about yourself a bit? Oh well I guess I'm pretty nice. I don't get mad too easily and I sorta look out for other folks.

 

Oh good! You sound like a nice young child. Anything else I should know about you? Well you probably met my brother Sherr- You know what he probably introduced himself as Revvy. He came to you to start his adventure about 4 years ago.

I'd be happy to join this especially since Bard's RP is starting to slow down, but do we start off with Pokemon are do we get some sort of starter from the professor?

Ah yes, that was one of things I remembered pretty much immediately after I closed my computer

 

I'm going to randomly generate a number between one and 718. The basic form of whatever pokemon's number is chosen will be yours, no legendaries of course. You get two options, and a free reroll if you got a Pokemon that can't evolve and you don't want it, like a Dunsparce or something.

 

Your two options are Tepig or Piplup, two starters funnily enough.

Well I mean an original appearance would be enough, but I guess that's not too important. You're two choices are Horsea and Plusle. If you don't want Plusle cuz of the no evolve thing, then you're substitute is Dwebble.

 

Also, look in the OP, cuz I'm about to make a baseline for the apps with my own character application. That goes for both of you

I'm not so sure about this anymore considering I'm trying to run my own RP and still keep up with Bard's. Plus im just kinda Pokemoned out when it comes to RPs. Sorry Amphy.

Oh good! You sound like a nice young child. Anything else I should know about you? Bethanne will be playing the role of healer for the group. E.G. If we're on a route training, and someone's pokemon gets seriously hurt or faints, Bethanne can heal them without having to return to the pokecenter. But, due to the nature of pockets not being botomless, she can only hold so many supplies. (2-5 heals before having to restock, whatever the DM feels is balanced.)

 

Also, a general rule for any posts I make: Pokemon dialogue will be colored, to stand out. Bethanne's dialogue will be bold (Thanks for the idea, ) . Bethanne's thoughts will be italicized. Just wanted to point it out now, due to previous confusions in other RP's. :3
