I loved Donkey Kong Country Returns and this one looks like it's gonna be even better. All new powerups, new characters to play as and levels that look to make excellent use of the back and foreground which is something DKCR really excelled at.

Definitely a reason for me to get a Wii-U.

Actually he wasn't in Donkey Kong Country Returns, it was some giant tiki thingamagig whose name I can't remember right now so maybe, maybe not.

It's some new Snomad tribe: animal characters with viking helmets and tribal designs on them. They're a lot better than any previous enemies in DKC. Their design is pretty neat.

I was just playing some Donkey Kong Country Returns with my sister... I had forgotten just how fun that game was! :3 Everybody is saying the Tropical Freeze is better in every way, so I think it's gonna be pretty epic once I get it! :3

It's been given a little bit of varied scores.  I'm going to have to play it myself to get an idea of which scores are the most reasonable.

As someone who feels the need to score things all the time, I think this is some great advise to follow.

 

Besides, I feel like most of the negative reviews are from people who were butthurt that it wasn't Metroid(and this comes from someone who loves that series)

Actually, I was thinking more of the scores that are 6 out of 10 and 7 out of 10.  Not bad scores, but lower than some other scores.  Brings down the average a bit.

If it's even half as good as Donkey Kong Country Returns it's gonna be pretty amazing.

 

Also, screw numbered scoring systems. They suck, they're broken, and they are almost never indicative of one's thoughts on a game.
