So, maybe I'm just overlooking it, but, is there something I need to do to be able to have a GIF on this site? Cause I want a GIF as my avatar.

No, you just upload the GIF file the same way you upload a normal image for your avatar. However, you need to keep in mind that GIF files tend to be larger in size despite their dimensions, so try to keep them relatively small (the max file size is 100 KB).

To add on to what Blue Moon said: the maximum dimensions for an avatar are 150x150.

 

If you subscribed or donated, your avatars could be up to 150x200 in dimension and 150 KB in size.
