I prefer melee. I'm not too high of a level, even after 7 years. XD I worked on Woodcutting for a long time.

I normally do melee, too, just because that's the highest level I have. I do like ranged, though.

 

The sad part is, I'm at a lower level in most things than my younger brother, because one year I was grounded for the entire school year, and my brother got way ahead. So now I'M the newbie in Runescape, even though my littler brother signed up much later than I did...

I've always been FTP. I'm fine with it. I don't really need any of that fancy extra stuff.

I made the journey with JaGex back when RS Classic was the only Runescape. And while I am not against the changes, I stopped playing mostly because it felt like a lot of the updates were getting ridiculous. They were just adding content to add content, and it makes the game annoyingly complicated. I remember back in the day the best helm was a Dragon med and the best weapon was a Dragon battle axe.

I joined back in 2007, when hitting a 200 was amazing and PVP was not so ridiculously easy.

 

 

Runescape is amazing. But sometimes i whish we got the old standard metal armor textuures back.

I wouldn't recommend it. I don't really think there's an advantage. Sure, you get quests and junk, but I didn't much care for being memby. I've always been a true F2P at heart. owo 

 

I miss those old texture packs. I loved the realistic helms. I always had the black armor on, but they updated min. levels for those things. :I

Divination is a COMPLETE waste of time. Don't bother with it.

I still play the 2d version of runescape. I like old school too, but I play on my Nexus so I can only play that on the 2d version.
