Just turned 42. Glad to see quite a lot of old school representation.

We still got the groove

I have made brony music since 2011. I like all kinds of music and genres. I'm sure you'll like some of it..

Here's My YouTube..I have several albums on Bandcamp and Pony.FM.

Check out the 20+ Musician project Maressey which I am running.

I'm glad that there are older bronies here on the forums and in the fandom. I'm going to be 31 in June, so knowing that there are other members in their 40's, and even older makes me feel less self conscious.

Great... Leave the self conscious fretting to us old buggers why don't you. :P

... Snip... Interestingly the older bronies/pegasisters are all reasonably close in age, relatively speaking. I'm not entirely sure why it's clustered like that.

Probably due to the explosion of cartoons on TV during the the late 70s and 80s

Probably something in MLPFiM resonates with the shows of that time. Thundercats( colour coded talking animals that teach moral lessons ! That seems familiar somehow!), Ulysses 31,dogtanion, cities of gold, masters of the universe, bagpuss, danger mouse!

Very true, I remember the early-mid 70's being a lot of live action kid's shows instead of cartoons. Dr. Shrinker, Electra Woman and Dyna Girl, H.R. Puffenstuff... You know, every time I list off the shows I remember from when I was *little*, I realize how many of them sound like porn titles. The seventies were... unique... :)

Another good age test is the tune sung when sining the following lyrics..

One two three four five

Six seven eight nine ten

Eleven twelve.

OMG... not those things

I was more into "Land of the Lost"

Sid and Marty Croft... you know they had to be on some SERIOUS drugs... serious..

It wasn't until the 80s when the whole cartoon thing really kicked off (and I present you exhibit pony)

... as you may have guessed, I didn't come up with this sentence but randomly found it on the net. But I like it.

Gonna be 26 in a couple days here. I'm not the oldest, but it just seems so weird knowing I'm that age and that I've been driving for 10 years already.

Time starts flying once you get out of high school and are busy with "real life" LOL.

I know right? I'm 24 years young. As many stated before not the oldest brony, not even close, but I have to agree. Especially since 40 is average middle aged.

I do remember once seeing some guy who had tattos on his arms and everything, and wore a Derpy Hooves hat at Disney World. But that was when I was (literally) a closet brony, so far in there that I found presents. And that would probably be the only one I will ever see IRL...  -_-
