Budding Night 1,043 February 16, 2014 Share February 16, 2014 (edited) On January 28, 2013, a new CG special titled The Powerpuff Girls: Dance Pantsed was announced to premiere that year, though it was later delayed to January 20, 2014. I just watched the episode and I LOVED IT Everything from the voice acting to the animation to the plot line, it was all close to perfect in my eyes! While I did like it, it was a bit disappointing to see it a bit rushed, some delayed lip synching, incorrect super powers, and overall not that much of a special for something so hyped. Sunny Fox 5,961 February 16, 2014 Share February 16, 2014 (edited) I didn't like the animation style very much. The 3D cell-shading just made all the motions jerky and unrealistic. There were a few funny moments, but overall, the plot just seemed a bit too goofy. And while the voices were pretty close to the originals, the characters all seemed to speak far too quickly. It was like a PPG episode on fast forward. I'd probably watch the second episode to see if it improves, but I don't think it'll be for me. Had they used an animation style more along the lines of FiM, it would probably be passable. As it is, I'm going to have to say "no thanks". Anyway, the special was decent despite some flaws.
