On January 28, 2013, a new CG special titled The Powerpuff Girls: Dance Pantsed was announced to premiere that year, though it was later delayed to January 20, 2014.
 
I just watched the episode and I LOVED IT Everything from the voice acting to the animation to the plot line, it was all close to perfect in my eyes! (Though I admit some parts were a tad rushed)

I saw this not too long ago.

 

While I did like it, it was a bit disappointing to see it a bit rushed, some delayed lip synching, incorrect super powers, and overall not that much of a special for something so hyped.

 

I like it, but it could've been better.

The special might not have been what I expected, but I still enjoyed watch it. It's always good seeing the Powerpuff Girls.

I honestly couldn't stand it. And in my opinion the animation was just bad. I liked the original much better...

I didn't like the animation style very much. The 3D cell-shading just made all the motions jerky and unrealistic. There were a few funny moments, but overall, the plot just seemed a bit too goofy. And while the voices were pretty close to the originals, the characters all seemed to speak far too quickly. It was like a PPG episode on fast forward. I'd probably watch the second episode to see if it improves, but I don't think it'll be for me.

 

Had they used an animation style more along the lines of FiM, it would probably be passable. As it is, I'm going to have to say "no thanks".

THE POWERPUFF GIRLS ARE BACK...But the special's over, so now they're gone again! It was just one special.

 

 

Anyway, the special was decent despite some flaws. In particular, the animation on the mouths is awful - they basically hold blowjob faces () while speaking entire sentences and it's really distracting and awful.

That's okay. I understand the flaws and things to make people dislike it. I'm thinking maybe I should go back and watch it again, see what I think, invade that was my excitement talking up there^
