movies/tv Anyone remember ALF, or currently watch it on the Hub?

Because I don't get the Hub here in Canada, I have to watch it on the YouTubes. (This feels like cheating)

 

I remember watching a rerun of it on TV one time in the 90's, but nothing much else about it.

I sometimes wonder why I was born too late when all the good stuff was about to disappear from television.

 

Is there anyone who actually likes and watches ALF besides me? I find it to be still funny after years, even if I never saw much of it back then.

I remember ALF, he was pretty popular in his time so I think if you never seen the show you could enjoy it for the first time.

I don't think they ever put out uncut DVDs because it wasn't something that wanted to spend a ton of money on.

Oh man, I actually remember when the first episode was supposed to air,  but some stupid hockey game was in overtime so for years i had missed the first 15 minutes of the pilot episode. My mom actually remembers me being all upset about it.

Yes, now you can see it at the hub, but I'm not fully interested to give it a shot, I'm not to big on sitcoms.

Yeah I was born in ''76 so i was a kid when it came out. I had the ALF sheets and a stuffed ALF at one point.

Somehow I lost mine along with all my stuffed Garfields during the move from Alberta to BC. Ironically though, When i was that age, around 8 or so, I wished for a fat cat like Garfield. i'm 38 today and what do i have today? A fat orange tabby like Garfield. lol  Only I named him Maximus instead.

LoL love a good laugh from Good ol' Gordo Schumway! Also somewhat always irked that people never remember his real name is Gordon...

 

FYI the series is on Hulu if you get that! not sure if its on the free part of it, But worth a check. They also have the Animated series for it on there too last I checked! Not as good IMO as they went WAY over board with the wacky designs.. but still interesting, and you get to see Gordons friends and girlfriend that he always rambled about.

Alf seems to be the more remembered name, but I never forgot that his real name WAS Gordon Shumway!

I remember ALF. I never really watched it when it was popular, though. Thanks to a rather gruesome creepypasta I heard read, I probably never will, either.
