Okay, I hate myself for making a Miley Cyrus related thread but did you hear about her new tour that has animation by John K.?  I don't even know what to think of it, the animation itself looks funny but Miley Cyrus, seriously? This guy has gone on record as saying he hates pretty much all media now and he's doing something for Miley Cyrus? Is he a total sellout?  :okiedokielokie:

TBH many pop musicians like Gaga and Miley seem to absorb the spotlight and yet troll it at the same time with outrageouos behavior. Maybe he sees a kindred spirit or is getting paid a decent chunk of change for his services. I don't know how you can sellout if you don't have a regular job. what else was he doing with his time?

Well he was supposed to be working on Cans Without Labels an animated short that he was given a good amount to finish on Kickstarter. I understand animation takes time but I don't want him spending time he could be using on that for this.

I think this was made to make fun of Cyrus' inexcusable behavior. 

Then again, I could be completely wrong, and Mr.Kricfalusi was payed big bucks to do this.

I just hope Mr.Kricfalusi has some kind of secret message in this artwork. Maybe he made it like this to fit her image, making her look even more like a skank.

But I think she's self aware enough that it's not really a secret message, I'd really just rather have her fade into obscurity than have people make fun of her and constantly keep her relevant anyway.

Oh there have been entire case studies into the treatment of disney "stars". Almost always the psychological abuse, coupled with being famous and having power as a child psychologically destroys them. And you end up with hollow, almost non-sapient people like Miley.

Honestly so many former Disney stars have done this same sexual revolt against their former Disney parents it really shouldn't be a shock anymore. Christina Aguilera (Dirty), Britney Spears (Toxic), Timberlake (Sexyback).  This isn't a brand new thing and to think that she's not self-aware or orchestrating the reaction isn't often giving the performer the credit they deserve....

I'm sure it's frustrating but at the end of the day the person either accepts the deal or doesn't. I know the RHCP knew they were going to get flack for air guitaring during the super bowl but to them the pro's outweighed the con's.  In John K's pov if she wants to pay him a lot of money to make fun of her why wouldn't he accept the deal?  It's a dream come true.
