Dashtastic57 40 March 11, 2014 Share March 11, 2014 Hmm...I may have to look into this. I am unable to resist anything Pinkie Pie (except for the toothbrush). It will take everything I have confidence wise to walk into my local mcdonalds and ask for one. I might pretend I have a daughter lol. Sucks about AJ, but she seems to get the short end of the stick a lot. That tends to make AJ stuff more special for me since there's not as much of her stuff. And maybe I'm wrong but isn't Scratch more popular among bronies than with kids? Could it be a nod to us? (sorry if that was already mentioned. I didn't read page 2 cause it's late and well I didn't want to).
Sugar Cube 4,843 March 11, 2014 Share March 11, 2014 I know I am a major stick in the mud for even butting in on this, but I am disappoint that Vinyl Scratch gets a toy and Applejack is nowhere to be seen. For me personally, I feel like whenever a set of Pony merchandise doesn't include one or more of its main characters, the set feels pointless. Where's the emphasis on friendship? Why can't they honor the group dynamic of the Mane Six and make sure that they all are included? Especially since the last two McDonalds MLP toy sets included Applejack. :okiedokielokie: Truthfully, these figures don't seem that appealing to begin with and I simply have no use for them other than to have them sit around and take up space. Consequently, I won't be buying these toys. No AJ? No buy. Funko has yet to release an Applejack figure. Think I bought any of the other pony toys released so far? Nuh-uh. Build-a-Bear has pony plushies? That's awesome, but until they release an Applejack one, I'm not budging. That's my story and I'm stickin' to it.

PinkiePieJr 122 March 11, 2014 Share March 11, 2014 It has been rumored for a while on the internet for those who keep up on EQD. Well, for those of you who don't know though, the idea was MLP toys were finally gonna come to US McDonalds (cuz it seems to me every country got to have them but US). Well, I actually work there, so I get special info and stuff, and I found that the next toy after this Peabody thingy one for girls toys are in fact My Little Pony! Best part is, for those who don't like to eat at McDonalds, you DO NOT have to buy any food to get the toys when they come out. You can buy toys separate for somewhere between 1-2 dollars I believe (I don't know the exact price cuz I never buy them). But I'm gonna be getting all of them, so just thought I'd alert all those collectors out there. Happy Hunting! 2 Wanna See My YouTube? How About My Memes? Moved to Elsewhere 11,331 March 11, 2014 Share March 11, 2014 Well if I can I might try for the pinkie one, though happy meals are completely random with what toy you get. To be honest, when I got happy meals as a kid, I would either break the toy really fast, or just throw it away because it's a cheap plastic figure. Virgil 685 March 11, 2014 Share March 11, 2014 (\^3^/) !!! I think I have some non-brony friends that will eat the happy meals for me ( don't like MacDonald's ,but my favorte book is written by a George MacDonald ) so I can get the toys. What approach shouls I use? A ) "Uhm... I'd like a happy meal..... with the pony toy.." B ) "Yes, I would like several happy meals with the girls toy good sir." Or C ) "I need three of every pony toy! Now take my money!" I know there's a place you walkedWhere love falls from the treesMy heart is like a broken cupI only feel right on my knees.I spit out like a sewer holeYet still receive your kissHow can I measure up to anyone nowAfter such a love as this? That picture is the first, and the comb fob brushables are the second iteration. The funny thing is, your link shows this. There's the first generation of MLP toys in 2011 (with Brazil getting it's own special set, apparently), and then the second were released in 2012. LordDiscord 289 March 11, 2014 Share March 11, 2014 (edited) At McDonald's? Not really. I'll get a fish sandwich every now and then, but otherwise not a lot of options. Doesn't matter though, cause I'm pretty sure you can buy the toys separate from the Happy Meal. I have always been curious why some people cut meat out of their diet entirely. I am in no way trying to discriminate vegetarians, I am just curious if the decision is do to diet and how ''fatty'' meat can be or if its because some don't like the thought that they are eating a animal. Anyway, you could always buy the kids meal and either throw away the burger or you could give it away to another family member if all you want is the toy. deadprofile 1,122 March 11, 2014 Share March 11, 2014 Depending on the McDonald's, all the one's I've ever been to sell the toys for $3.99 I asked why are they so expensive, and the clerk simply said that they want people to buy the food for the toy, not just the toy, because then they lose out on it. They aren't worth that much...plus there has to be meat free options, you just have to ask (even if you get a crap ton of apples ) "In fire iron is born, by fire it is tamed"

I'm pretty much not a health food nut at all. I can't really think of any friends or family I could drag to McDonald's for a happy meal just to get a toy. And, to me, throwing away the hamburger away would be wasteful and inconsiderate to the cow that had to die for it. Beyond that, I think we're treading into massive derail territory. But, anywho I've got other options so it's all kind of moot. 1 Application REJECTED!
