I only just realised that I have nothing for breakfast tomorrow. Oh well. That's future Cash In's problem. :>

At first I rejected the zero, but that was because I simply didn't understand it. Now I do.

If only if I have my own place to stay and have a stable life right now- I’d have willingly adopt this child.

One of my coworkers had a friend who was recently killed leaving her 7 month old child motherless. The child father is over at Mexico not knowing if he will be willing to be there for the child. So my coworker is taking care of the child but tomorrow the police are going to see what they do with the child. So far the friend who passed away have no relatives and my coworker have no one who is willing to take care of the child. In my gut without hesitation - I would have love to adopt that child as my own honesty. Can’t explain why that is or this may sound like a reckless decision but I just feel its seems like right thing to do. But I wish only for the best for the kid and my worker.

@TBD

That is very sad and I am sorry to hear about that situation.

It’s sucks now that I remember when she asked me if I’m married or have kids- I said to her “no and no but adopting kids would be nice.” And I guess she remembered that. She could have gone to anyone about it but she comes to me instead. She didn’t directly ask me but she was like about to cry, in a loss, and I could tell she needed desperate help or someone to take care of the child. I really felt so bad afterwards coming home- but I did promise her to help her get a lawyer for the child since I know someone who can. Hopefully that will be enough.

Fab – is it supposed to animate? 'Cause it isn't ... :worry:

No animation this time around, I'm afraid. :muffins:

The reason I created the new avatar last night was because I learned that animated avatars were a subscriber perk and my older one had slipped through the net when it became a perk. So it didn't feel right having something that I shouldn't have. Hence why I created the new avatar. Was a good enough time and reason to finally do so. :)

If I ever do become a subscriber, I'm definitely creating a new animated one though. :eager:

I’ll say this. My dads overweight and they’d been watching him for a certain health concern for awhile. Today he officially has it.  My mother is automatically assuming the worst. However I know my dad is now aware that he now has to take dieting and losing the weight seriously or else it could progress this into something worse. I know he will do that.

I wish your family well. I am in a similar situation where my father is still experiencing a certain health condition as well. He was told to change his lifestyle several years ago by the doctor. We spoke to him and bought him a lot of organic food and supplements for a long time, but he did not change and ended up having a stroke recently. He lost some of the right side of his vision and cannot work or drive at this time. It’s been almost a month and he still hasn’t recovered his vision completely. The doctor told him that if it hasn’t come back by now or soon, it’s a great possibility that it may never come back and that no medicine or surgery can make it come back. More extensive tests showed that he had damage in his brain and is more likely to have another stroke soon. Yet, he is still downplaying the situation and thinks he’s going back to work. I told him that he is going to have to leave work and retire earlier than anticipated, but he laughed it off. My father was hospitalized as well and is still downplaying his condition as he started to return to his old habits. Everyone has spoken to him and I offered to pay for therapy sessions to try and make some progress, but he simply refuses to listen. We never had a great relationship, but the past few years I have been doing everything that I can to help regardless of what happens.

Your dad can definitely do it :squee:. I'm sure he appreciates your support for him. I know I would if I was in that situation.

As much as I love your new avatar I think you should have embraced your Kirin gimmick and not said anything.

I would say so. If you run out, just eat the other campers.  :catface:
