As both a Sonic and MLP fan, I have to say one of the things that I find problematic is when people attribute the edge lord stereotype to characters Princess Luna and Shadow the Hedgehog. It's an oversimplification of their characterization.

It sucks when you go to a family dinner and forget to bring a phone and book, can't get said phone or book and you have no keys to get into locked house, thus have to survive when everyone else has one or the other and your OWN MOTHER gers annoyed when you try to start conversations with OTHER PEOPLE jsut to stave off boredom.

That is so strange to condemn someone for talking at a family gathering  In my case, the opposite happens at my dad's where he'll be upset if I don't talk enough, even if I just finished a conversation with someone. For Pete's sake, family gatherings are meant for fun, do whatever you want there!
