gaming How would you feel if they...

Re-made your favorite, childhood classic video game?

Now, I know they may have re-made some games, such as Ocarina of time, Star Fox 3DFable the lost chapters, etc, but is there a game you like that has not been re-made yet that you like?

If they took that, and re-made it into better graphics and maybe added a few new extra things here and there, how would you feel?

I know they kind of re-made Banjo Kazooie on Xbox live, but they did keep the graphics and only enhanced the quality a little. If they re-made Banjo Kazooie with newer and better graphics, and everything is more "realistic" looking, with more of a furrier appearance and the nature seems more detailed and maybe a few extra things added here and here on the game, I might try it out actually like the game, BUT! I would not love it as much as the graphics I grew up with. *Graphics don't matter, it's the storyline* But still, the old, Nintendo 64 graphics will always outrank newer graphics.

I would love a remake of Wild Arms 2. The first game was remade and it was a thousand times better, supposedly anyway since I haven't had the chance to play it, but if they did that with WA2 I'd be a happy camper.

I have no idea. Alot of the games I liked as a kid, have either already been remade, or if they remade them they'd probably screw them up bad.

Feel free to add me on steam if you want to play something. Also don't be afraid to message and talk to me. I've had bad luck when I start a conversation, so I more then likely won't start one.

In my case, they are doing exactly that and I'm very happy about it.

Timesplitters, perhaps the most original Shooter game ever made, and a funny tongue-in-cheek one at that.

Remaking Timesplitters, eh? I only ever played the third one so a remake of one or both of the others will make them more easily available to me. I'll have to keep an eye out for them. Future Perfect had me rolling at times. Love Cortez.

I had the opportunity to play all of them. The first one was alright, the second was great, and the third was even better. Fans are making an HD remake that includes the content from all of them, and they're getting full cooperation from the company that owns the Timesplitters Copyright.

The project is called Timesplitters; Rewind, and they're trying to build enough hype to get a Timesplitters 4 to be made. The idea came from the company announcing that they're only going to make Timesplitters 4 if it's something people would want, hence the attempt to renew interest in the series from the fans.

I'd really like a remake of Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly, it was a great game that could be made even greater if they fleshed out the graphics and got rid of bugs and glitches within the game.

I was unaware of this. I will absolutely buy this when it comes out. Or donate. Or whatever the hell will show my interest. LOL

I've heard the first game doesn't actually have much story like the other two. I'd still play it. I love the quick pace of FP.

I'm not one for shooters most days but FP had me hooked from the start.

I'd probably be down with that. Gotta love flying through mountains and squeezing through the lightning gate without having the key cuz you can dash into the crack between the two sides of the gate. LOL

I like the Legend of Spyro series (haven't tried Skylanders though) but I think the series going back to it's roots for at least one game would be pretty cool.

Sly Cooper remake would be pretty cool. I wonder what they could do in terms of updating the game. Modern graphics would definitely bring that world's good qualities out, as long as they keep the art style cartoonish while touching up the actual animation quality. Maybe add some new mechanics, easter eggs... Mmm, I'm not a game designer.

I remember hearing that game was rushed so it could be released by a certain time, but yes! I would love if they remade it and took their time on it and not have as much bugs and such a short game and so rushed!! I did like that game, but I wish there was more to do.

I really did like the newer Sly 4 graphics and they should, perhaps, remake the other ones with those graphics :)

They did rerelease all the first 3 Sly's with improved graphic prior to the Sly 4 release for the PS3 as a 3 game combo pack!

I love Sly Cooper. I got used to the new designs but I still liked the older look more.

Except for the animated movies. Good god the animated movies in Sly 4 were absolutely amazing.

I don't get Platinum Trophies very often. I got the one in Sly 4.

THIS

Timesplitters held a dear place in my heart. It is probably my favorite first-person shooter of all time. I love the witty humor and zany cast of characters! Who could forget the Gingerbread Man or even Hans?

I would love to see a fourth installment in the series!

Funny, someone in Halo Waypoint forums, posted a thread exactly like this,.  Anyhow, if there's one game I so want remade....................its Assault Rigs and MechWarrior 2: 31st Century Combat

I'm also up for that. It was one of my favorite games when I was younger and I would love to play an advanced, updated version.
