None of my characters can even show up at this point in the story. Unless I wanted to add Mirror Image....but I'd prefer not to add another Oc to my list of characters.

I just headcanon that its a matriarchal society and there simply aren't that many guys.

Same here pretty much. But I can't say this has ever happened to a RP I've been in. You know, mares entirely outnumbering stallions? Usually its about even or leans towards stallions.

Indeed: It's nice to see for a change! I tend to roll a lot of mares for that very reason. That, and they tend to just generally be more interesting.

I have to agree. On average I find Mare OC's to be more interesting and fun to play. Actually the reason I made my first OC a mare was because i see Equestria as a matriarchy.

 

Sadly though, it seems like with everyone playing Mares any relationship building has gone a very slim chance of happening now. (Not that I have a problem with Mare/Mare relationships. Gay relationships just seem to be super rare in RPs on the forums.)

Haha, yes I noticed that. Out of my roughly two years of RPing here on these forums, I've only ever seen two same-sex relationships happen. One I don't consider...authentic or real...because it was between two OC's that were owned by the same guy and they started off in a relationship. The other hasn't really bore fruit yet but is definitely there.

Wow I am glad I decided to check lmy updates. I was about to post that the coach had left without Coat Tails. Glad to see you were able to make a post after all.

Coat Tail stepped off the carriage and just stood a moment, taking it all in.

I'm really here. This is really happening.

He had been absolutely thrilled when he had read the invitation, once he had gone through the initial shock and disbelief. It's not every day you get an invitation from royalty to come to an exclusive resort, and Coat intended to make the most of it. He dug through his bag and pulled out a small mirror.

Making good first impressions are a top priority. I can't make it big if I'm immediately regarded as a common pony. I have to be one of them. Everything must be perfect.

He was rearranging his mane a bit when he was interrupted by one of the carriage drivers.

"Excuse me, sir, but we all need to clear out to make room for the next carriage" he said. Then he leaned in a little closer and dropped his voice. "I wouldn't wander too far, though. I hear the next carriage is full of mares." He winked and walked away, leaving Coat fixing up his appearance even more frantically.

A carriage full of mares? Can't miss that! Coat may have been there to become a rising star, but he'd never miss a chance at a little romance. Besides, being popular with the ladies usually makes one popular with everybody.

 

Satisfied with his mane, he put on a pair of sunglasses and found a bench to sit one. He pulled out a magazine and tried to look as nonchalant as he could.

 

 

(I hope the minor and temporary control of that NPC is okay.)

Well we probably could have been clearer but it's a private carriage that is owned and operated by the resort itself. In the letter your of originally got, were also supposed to be instructions on when and where to meet. So everyone is supposed to be on the same carriage.

Yes, that should work. Just have him walk over to the resorts carriage and give the Coach Master his bags, show the ticket, and get in. Sorry for all this trouble. Y'all will have much more freedom on what to do when y'all get to the town itself.
