Do you lift?

Well, "productive"... I see no fun at sitting on a chair and lifting a piece of metal multiple times, feels no satisfaction.

The after burn of your muscles once you have worked hard enough is the satisfaction.

wat, pain is satisfactory.

Well, let's just say that lifting is a very different sport, that I do not enjoy. (since you don't understand the idea.)

Ok.

It's just that some pain feels good.

Expectially if it's after you lift.

The feelling of healing muscle is relaxing to almost anyone who works out on a regular basis.

By the way, I wouldn't call weight training a sport.

It's more of an activity.

I'll get their hopefully by the end of this summer.

You're 16 right?

Don't push yourself, you'll just end up hurt.

Take it nice and slow, progress is progress.

I deal with many heavy boxes at work... In fact, I usually work in an area that is fairly heavy (but you know it's not if I'm working there. lol)

But those boxes of cat litter... I refuse to deal with them. I leave them for any man that ever happens to be working with me. xD

But to answer your question, I don't lift. And I don't care either. =P

In high school I played sports year round, so I did lift a lot. Nowadays, I do it once a week at most.

Been lifting weights since I was 12. I have my own stuff in my basement-some from yard sales, some built.

I train for strength, not to look pretty. My current goal is just to maintain where I am-once you get north of 40 years old, things start to tail off a bit.

Declined Chest Flies - 2 Sets 10 Reps

Flat Chest Flies - 2 Sets 10 Reps

1RM - 30lb

Current weight: 15lb

Military Press - 4 Sets 10 Reps

Current Weight: 50lb

Dumbbell Shrugs - 4 Sets 15 Reps Hold 10 seconds on 15th shrug

Anyone have advice for this? Opinions? Bragging rights for being bigger than me (everyone is)?

20lb? I think my backpack is heavier than that. Still, you're awesome for working hard and trying to get better, and I'll brohoof your post for that.

I typically do sets of 20/30 pushups every few hours, to offset the fact that I don't get out much. Situps and weight training is also included, and when I can go to the gym, I use every machine at high levels, typically 60-90ish lbs. I still look fat, but I don't care.

I was dead until the moment I met you. I was a powerless corpse pretending to be alive. Living without power, without the ability to change my course, was akin to a slow death. I find strength to be something... not useless but something I don't really need... yet.... I focus mostly on my cardio by jogging in my spare time and I ride my bike to school which is a 6 mile ride... so I can stay light on my feet and be as quick as a bunny...
