Your application looks good, but I think the pokemon need to be toned down a bit. The moves are a bit too OP for right now. I'd suggest getting rid of Sandstorm, Poison Jab, Flame Charge (That one might be ok, but ember would probably make more sense for right now), and Calm Mind. Please also include personalities of each pokemon.

 

Also, you can't start with the mega stones already in your possession. Not exactly fair, and it kinda ruins a story event that'll be happening fairly late in the RP.

Quick question concerning my most recent post: is there going to be specific, technical benefits for obtaining the gym badges?  For example, is it going to be like the games where new items are available in the Marts, HM moves can be used outside of battle, etc?

HMs won't be necessary, so yea. Your items are basically limitless, so there's not much point to going to the mart. However, progression in the RP may dictate what items you may have at any given time.

 

The main two reasons to obtain badges are the ability to enter the Pokemon League, and bragging rights. I'd say that's enough. x3

What do you look like? I've got long (For a guy) hair and bright green eyes. I wear black, thick-framed, glasses on my slightly crooked nose. My general attire is black jeans and my dark green fleece jacket, with plain colored shirts underneath that. I'm about average height, with an athletic, fairly muscular build. Not much else aside from that. Pretty plain and uninteresting I guess.

What's your personality like? Well uh... hmmm... I guess I've always been kind of studious. I used to be a professor's aid before now, and I liked to draw Pokemon while researching. My little nephew seems to have taken that up too... Anyway, I suppose I'm fairly nice, if not tolerable of others. I don't really like... annoying people, you know? I can get really determined when I want to be. Hell, I've been training to become a gym leader for like 12 years now. Speaking of which, I'm really dedicated to work I do, whether it be researching, training, battling, or otherwise. I can definitely take a joke though! I'm not a stiff! But other than that... *shrug* Not really the best at describing myself.

Where were you born? Ecruteak City, Johto! Even though I helped Elm with his studies, my home was always in Ecruteak. It's where I met Morty and where I found out I wanted to take his place as a Ghost leader one day.

Have you ever been traveling through a region before as a pokemon trainer? Oh yea! I started traveling around the world once I turned 18. I've been to Hoenn and Sinnoh, and naturally Kanto. Now I'm on my way to Unova, despite what some people say about it. I don't like bringing my strong teams over to new regions, so I generally start with a pair of weaker Ghost Pokemon. Ghosts aren't the only thing I'll catch though, since sadly they're rare and scarce in number, so it'd be stupid to do something like that.

What pokemon have you brought with you?  I'm bringing my awesomely shiny Gastly, Revenant (Revvy), and my Phantump, Clarion. My big sister, Marie, gave Clarion to me when she came back to Kalos, which makes her as special as Revvy, and he's shiny! Revvy knows Confuse Ray, Night Shade, Will-o-wisp and Venoshock . Clarion knows Astonish, Feint Attack, Shadow Claw, and Protect.  

Other: This is basically what I like to call the Green canon, which pretty much only has Locke as a major character, with his sister Marie and the Witlock trio being minor characters. Locke's a little younger here than he is in the Witlock family canon, at 24, but the ages I use him at vary from 17 to this. Marie is 30, with Revvy, Cedric, and Callie being 7, 4, and 2, respectively. In the Witlock family canon, Locke's around 37. Just a little fun fact I guess.

 Guys, you all need to calm down with the evolution-ing. I'm pretty cool with that stuff, but we're only at the first few towns. I really only let starters evolve because it was an option to have them already evolved at the start of the RP. x3

That being said, mind editing your post so Sentret doesn't evolve yet? I'm completely fine with it knowing some awesome new moves, but I think evolution on a recently caught pokemon is a bit too soon right now.

 

Also, not sure why all of you want to go to the Aspertia gym, seeing as the Nacrene one gives the exact same badge. And it's in a museum. Museums are waaay cooler than schools.
