Tempest woke up before the sun even rose above the horizion. By the time it rose, he and his Pokémon had eaten were ready for anything. "Well, let's get started." He said, as he noticed a cacnea. "This could be interesting." He thought, as he walked towards the Pokémon, with his own following behind.

((There's no Cacnea on Route 4. Please be more specific.))

Walking out of the Pokemon Center for the morning, Lurele had returned most of her Pokemon to their Pokeballs with the exception of Mienfoo.  She figured the newborn Pokemon would be eager to see some of the world, and so she was carrying her in her arms as she looked around Nimbasa City.  It didn't take her all that long to figure out where to go though - even with Lurele's sense of direction, the Seeker's Building was fairly obvious.

Walking up to the doorway, she hesitates as she remembers the welcome she'd received back in Castelia...  But, Lurele was adamant about finding out more about those Kyurum guys.  Holding Mienfoo with one arm, she pushes the door open and takes a couple steps inside...  Though this time she was on guard for anyone ready to try and just shove her back out the door.  "Hello?  Is there anyone here I could talk to?"

There didn't appear to be anyone in the building. Well, any human, anyway. A lone Absol sat in front of the altar, on top of which lay three eggs. One was of a yellow and brown colouring, another of a orange coloring with a few black markings as well as darker orange markings, and finally, one was orange with sky blue markings. The Absol appeared to be guarding them.

When Lurele asked her question, the tilted its head at her. "Sol." It said, bluntly. Whether this was a yes or no answer was unclear, though not too much time later a man wearing a sleek black suit entered the room. He had long, black hair that had been neatly braided, and bright brown eyes. "Ah. A visitor." He said to her. "Welcome. Make yourself at home."

The ports weren't very busy this morning. Furthermore, the crowd was far nicer than the usual people from Virbank. When Jacques had asked his question to someone who sat atop a barrel, the man lazily pointed to a random boat. Said boat was about to do the regular trip to Castelia. As it was the most common trip, it looked to be departing in give or take 5 minutes, with only a few people on it. One of the people on it was a girl with purple hair and a white dress. She looked familiar, somehow.

"Oh? You really think so?" Cecil said, somewhat in surprise that someone else was stroking his ego for once.  Despite how he thought of himself, he wasn't actually accustomed to receiving genuine compliments. "Shame you didn't see us earn my second badge, then. We put on quite the performance, I would think, " and with that said, a breeze pushed against the inside of his shirt, revealing the two badges pinned on it for a moment.

"Still, it is a bit disappointing to hear you had failed your challenge. Hopefully you can prove yourself in battle soon enough," Cecil said genuinely. Typically, he would've directly insulted the other trainer's abilities, but he was in a good mood this day and saw no point in being rude. Especially if he was going to be stuck on a boat with him for a while. "Anyways, my name is Cecil, its a pleasure to make your acquaintance."

Cecil let his eyes drift back to his pokemon, and he noticed his growlithe playing with Jacques's mienfoo. "grow?" the pokemon responded to being smacked on the head, disoriented a bit by the blow. It shook its head and growled a little at the mienfoo, before pouncing on it so as to lick its face. Cecil looked on in mild bemusement.

He noticed the man Jacques was talking to pointing to a boat, "ah, well, looks like that'll be our ride. Come along, Scout." He bent down and picked the growlithe up. He looked back to his other two pokemon, and led them unto the boat. He looked back to Jacques, waiting for him to follow, as well.

Before Jacques could eventually get on the boat, however, Cecil's gaze had wandered about the different passengers on board. A flash of recognition hit him upon seeing a girl with long purple hair. He walked up behind her, "excuse me, miss. Were you not the one who was handing out pokedexes to trainers in Aspertia, yesterday?"

Lurele had been staring at the Absol until the man had walked in, and she quickly turned her attention to him and smiled.  She wasn't being told to leave, that was a plus over Castelia.  Though this building did seem different than the other Seeker's buildings she had been in...  Probably since it was her first time in one dedicated to Zekrom.  "Oh, uhm...  Hello."

Starting to take a few steps towards the man, Lurele pauses momentarily as her Mienfoo starts wriggling in her grasp wanting down.  Letting the little Pokemon jump to the floor, Lurele directs her attention back to the man who had spoken to her.  "Sorry to bother you, I was just wondering if anyone here could tell me anything about a group of people claiming to follow Kyurum?"

As her trainer was talking about whatever boring thing she'd wanted to come here for, Mienfoo had bounded up to the Absol.  "Mi! Mi!" she chirps happily up at the dark type, tilting her head while looking at the larger Pokemon.  It doesn't seem to last long though before she is craning back and standing on the ends of her toes, trying to get her chin up high enough to look over the edge of the altar behind Absol to look at the eggs.

@@Leafeon@,

Jacques's eyes widened in surprise when Cecil mentioned having obtained a second badge!  He would have assumed it a wild boast until a breeze made the two badges visible for a moment.  Two badges... in one day? he thought to himself, very much impressed.  Does this guy sleep?  After a moment, he realized that the other trainer had just introduced himself and blurted out, "Er, right, I'm Jacques, from Kalos.  Pleasure to meet you as well!"

It was then that he heard about the boat to Castelia that was just about to leave.  Oh thank goodness, he thought with relief, glad to leave this city behind him.  Hopefully, this Castelia City would give off a much better vibe.  He nodded to the man on the barrel in thanks, then looked to his pokemon and called out, "Right, you heard him Karel.  Let's get going!"  The Mienfoo was somewhat disappointed to have to leave the company of the friendly Growlithe, but brightened as soon as he realized that they were going in the same direction.  Jacques was rather pleased as well that they were going in the same direction.  He always felt more comfortable when he was around people that he knew.  Even though he had just met Cecil, it was significantly more than he could say about anyone else.

At the boat, Jacques also noticed the familiar purple-haired girl.  He was never really good socially, so he chose to not say anything, but he did stand close enough to hear the conversation; trying his best to look like he wasn't paying any attention, so as to not appear creepy.

Tempest sighed, as he woke up. The sun had already risen, and the trainer wanted to start looking for new Pokémon as soon as possible. He noticed a entity, but he couldn't tell what it was and walked towards it.

Cynder looked at her trainer, and followed him. "I wonder what's gotten him so interested?" She thought. The fire type noticed that Drago was still sleeping, and decided that it was best to not wake him up.

The man appeared to pay little attention to Lurele. He was clearly waiting for her to ask him something, as he polished one of the statues portraying the legendary pokemon Zekrom. It was already rather clean. The whole place was ridiculously well kept, actually. He paused his motions at Lurele's questions, then turned to face her. He made direct eye contact with her, as if trying to judge her character

After a while of intense staring, the man retracted his gaze, and leaned against the altar. His Absol remained in a statue like stance, not bothering to pay any attention to Mienfoo or Lurele. "I suppose I best give you my name. Tis a common courtesy, after all." The man said, glancing at Lurele through the corner of his eye. "The name is Darin. I'm a follower of Deep Black pokemon, Zekrom. You've most likely met followers of the Vast White pokemon, Reshiram, right?"

Without waiting for an answer, Darin shifted again to look at Lurele directly once more. "That means there are followers of two members of the Tao trio. The third has no followers... Why would anyone seek to follow the Boundary pokemon, Kyurem regardless? It is not known to have anything it seeks." Darin said, in a cool voice. His pausing led on to knowing more than he was actually saying. "If one were to follow Kyurem, it would most likely be an underground group. A crime group, I'd imagine... One seeking control... But there isn't one, like I said."

@@@Antismurf9001,

The girl with purple hair had appeared to be sleeping. Her head was pointed down, and her eyes were shut. She was obviously a light sleeper, as the voice of Cecil awoke her. A panic expression crossed her face, before she quickly sighed and tilted her head at Cecil. She didn't recognize him. There had been a lot of trainers, after all. The only one she remembered was the one with the black Furfrou. "Ah... Uhm..." She began, trying to think of an acceptable excuse for not being at her own abode without giving away too much. Then she realized she didn't have to. Hopefully. "Ah. Yes! That was me!" She said, with a warm smile.

Soon after the girl had responded, the Captain yelled out. "Boat's leaving! Sit down!" And with that, the boat began to float away, and to Castelia. Thankfully, both Jacques and Cecil had made it on board. It would only be a short trip to the big city.

@@Leafeon,@@Antismurf9001,

Cecil took a seat beside the girl, "She's seems a bit jumpy... hmm..." He silently observed, and smiled back at the girl. This was an opportune moment, Cecil figured, to learn more about Unova and specifically the Seekers organization. He rather regretted not having such an opportunity the day before, though that freed him to have the time to progress rather impressively in his ambitions.

Yes, as determined Cecil was to prove himself as a pokemon master, he had always held talking to new people and learning new things to be one of his favorite past times. Unable to control the pace he was going at whilst on this boat, he now had no conflict between these two pursuits.

"It must have been an awfully busy day for you, then. I don't recall anyone besides you to help with that task. I wouldn't blame you if you didn't recognize me or my acquaintance here," Cecil said, glancing towards Jacques, "though, I must say I admire the discipline required to carry out such a task, all while maintaining a smile on your face." He stated as a compliment. He knew that extracting new information was generally easier when the informant had a favorable impression of him, and a degree of flattery, less extreme then what he had utilized in his most recent gym battle, was a useful tool in acquiring such an impression.

Meanwhile, Cecil's pokemon were each reacting to being on the boat differently. The croagunk maintained an air of indifference, the gentle tilting and bobbing of the vessel bothering it little given the fighting-type's innate sense of balance. And, besides, it didn't want to show any weakness to its trainer, lest it never hear the end of it. It kept itself closer to Cecil than any of the other passengers, but not too close.

The growlithe was happy, as it pretty much always was. Being a fire-type, one would assume that being on a water-bound vessel would make it uneasy. Rather, it simply didn't seem to consider that it would be in danger if it fell off. It just wanted to play some more with the mienfoo, and so it went up to it and barked, "lithe! lithe lithe!", at it, wagging its tail in excitement.

Finally, the sandslash was very much perturbed by the situation. When Cecil sat down, it poked its trainer's leg to divert his attention away from the girl. "hmm, what is it Warden?" Cecil said, turning his head towards the sandslash. The pokemon tapped its claws against each other, looking away bashfully, "s-sand..." It felt embarrassed, but it was genuinely afraid and wanted its trainer's comfort.

Cecil simply smiled at it, and picked it up, setting it on his lap. He petted its head to comfort it, and then turned his attention back to the girl. "Anyways, I wanted to properly express my gratitude. That pokedex you gave me has proven itself useful already; it informed me of just the right technique to teach my new croagunk. Without it, I fear I wouldn't have beaten the Virbank Gym Leader. So, I, Cecil Amier, would like to extend my thanks to you... oh, pardon me, I never did quite catch your name, did I?"

Pumpkaboo looked around confused. Why had Gastly left? She looked around nervously, before deciding to follow the trainer into the clearing.    Both Throh and Sawk looked at Locke with the utmost confusion. Sawk shot Throh a questioning glance, to which Throh shrugged at. Throh then walked behind Locke, and tried to usher him into the clearing where quite a few grass types played, just like they had done to Sentret.   Pumpkaboo arrived in the clearing only a few seconds after Throh began to push Locke away. It hovered right in front of Locke. "Boo." It said.

((Well uh... I think I might be back...))

Locke looked at where Throh was directing him, and simply chuckled in response. "No silly! I'm not a Pokemon! I'm a trainer! I want to contain you in a small spherical capturing unit and make you fight for my own goals and entertainment! Doesn't that sound like fun!" Locke gave both fighting Pokemon a wide grin, but before either of them could respond, began talking again. "Just kidding! It's not really all that entertaining... The Helioptile turned it's head around sharply to note the trainer. It growled in a low voice, very unfitting for such a cute pokemon. It then ran away, bounding up the stairs on the nearest unfinished building, surprisingly swiftly.

@@@Antismurf9001,

Comet laughed nervously. The boy seemed to be... flirting with her? She was never terribly good at reading such things, so kinda just assumed it frequently. Because of this worry, she didn't reply to what Cecil had said, and remained fairly quiet. All this changed when she noticed the boy's Growlithe. Or rather, the barking sound it was making.

"Oh? A Growlithe?!" She asked, overly excited about the discover she should have noticed earlier. "A fire type, right? I love fire types! Though, I guess that should be obvious. Though I don't have any. I meant to get a Tepig as my starter but... It didn't really work out." Comet cut herself off, realizing she was rambling, and laughed nervously again. She then turned her attention to Jacques, ignoring everything else Cecil had to say. "Is that one yours? It's certainly happy!"

Both Sawk and Throh appeared to be outraged. This trainer was an idiot, wasn't he? Sawk and Throh turned their backs to the trainer, and looked to be conversing, though it was impossible to hear the sound. They then nodded, and turned back to him. This time, Sawk attempted to usher him to the grass types.

"Keldeo and Terrakion?! You mean the legendaries?!" Darin asked, his face showing a mixture of worry and surprise. He then sighed, straightening his black coat. Such a motion made his gloves visible, an odd stone on one of them. "No... That would not be possible for such a group. I would hope, anyway. Though... that would certainly help manners if their goal was control. They are powerful, after all. As for 'picking a bone with them...'"

Absol suddenly stood up, continuing to ignore the Mienfoo making loud noises at it. The dark type shook it's coat, looking rather bored.

"I suppose they would need to be just as powerful as anything they would possess. If they got a legendary pokemon on their side... You'd probably need the same. Which is near impossible. The next best thing would be closer in one's grasp..." The stone on Darin's hand suddenly began to glow, followed by Absol. The light was blinding. But, after a while, the light faded, resulting in an Absol with wings and some other adjustments. "Like that, I would suppose. Though... it's unlikely someone of such a young age could pull it off..."

Lurele shielded her eyes slightly from the bright glow, before gasping as Absol changed before her.  "Wow - wait, what was that?  Did your Absol just evolve!?  How?"  Without waiting for an actual answer, Lurele reached for one of her Pokeballs and opened it up.  With a flash of light her Lucario was standing at her side, his arms crossed across his chest.  "I mean, I know how evolution works, I watched Luke evolve..."

She had been shocked enough by Absol's mega evolution that she almost missed what else Darin had said - he DID know something he wasn't saying!  She turns to look at him again, nodding her head slightly.  "And yeah, I saw Keldeo and Terrakion fighting last night.  I uh...  Well, sort of got in the way, but that's not the point.  The way Keldeo was behaving it was like he had been captured and was being forced to fight Terrakion.  Or, I don't know, brain washed or something...  Not to mention one of those freaks nearly stole my Pokemon before that!"  Her Lucario growls quietly as he hears Lurele bringing up the topic again, staring defiantly at Darin.  The fighting type wasn't sure if it was smart for Lurele to be discussing this with someone she'd just met...  Let alone someone with a Pokemon as powerful as that Absol.

As this was going on, Mienfoo had been left dangling helplessly from the altar.  Stubbornly, the little fighting type tries to pull herself up towards the altar to get on top of it.  With a surge of energy she scrambles to try and grab something to hold on to, before failing and falling back downwards.  She smacks her chin on the edge of the altar as she falls, getting left dazed and dizzy sitting at the base of the altar.

It took a moment before Jacques realized that the girl had been addressing him.  "Ah, er, hello!" he said, his face reddening slightly.  "Heheh, yes, the Mienfoo is mine."  He looked over to Karel, who was now bouncing around the Growlithe, squeaking happily, as if trying to get it to chase him.  Just as he was landing one of his bounces, the ship rocked in an unexpected way, and the fighting-type fell face-first into the deck.  This didn't phase the little Mienfoo though, and after hopping back up and shaking his head he went right back to the Growlithe.  "My other pokemon aren't exactly playful, so having a friend that can keep up with him pretty much puts him in heaven."

He thought on how to continue the conversation.  Just leaving it there would be rude, right?  Well, he knew that the girl was a Seeker, should he ask about that?  He did want to learn more about them, specifically what they knew about the legendary dragons of Unova.  But would that be an awkward thing to ask?  Having been in Unova for only a day, he didn't really know if it was socially acceptable to talk about that sort of thing.  No, I'll ask later... maybe, he decided.  He finally decided to continue on the subject of their pokemon.  "Um, so, you have a Snivy on your team, right?" he began.  "How is he... or she... doing?  I remember him... or, um, her... being an interesting character."

Cecil's eyebrow twitched slightly when the girl ignored his questions. "What is this girl's deal? It's not like I said anything weird. Right? I was just making small talk. Who can't even answer the question of their name, geez..." And then the girl actually spoke up... to ask Jacques if the growlithe was his. "though, I wonder why she said it'd be obvious that she'd like fire types... hmm..." He thought, completely oblivious to the fact that Reshiram was a fire type and that she was a disciple of said fire type.

Cecil cleared his throat, "well, actually, he is mine."He said, leaning forward in his seat so as to block her view of Jacques and get her attention back to him. He turned back around to his growlithe, who was happily chasing the mienfoo about in a game of tag. He put up his fingers to his mouth to whistle, "Scout, boy." The growlithe perked up its head and turned towards its trainer, "come, I think this young lady would like to meet you." The growlithe turned back to the the mienfoo, and barked at it once as if to say that it'd be right back, and then bounded over towards its trainer and the girl he was talking about.

The growlithe sniffed Comet's leg, and pleased with her scent, she jumped up to her lap, "grow! Lithe, lithe!" It yelped in greeting, panting a little as his tongue lolled about. Cecil smiled at the girl, hoping to use the growlithe's charm to his advantage.

…Wha…What…?

Groaning, Tiana rolled over and coughed, her mouth dry and filled with sand.  Looking around, she found Purrl and Sasha curled up next to her in the crater.  Had she fallen asleep?  By the position of the sun in the sky, it would seem that she had, or maybe passed out.  Either way she was surprised that neither of the girls that were with her woke her up or carried her to safety.  But at the moment she was thirsty beyond belief; water was a priority.

“G-Girls…”  She began, struggling to her feet and coughing a few more times.  Sasha jumped to her feet, snuffling Tiana’s hand with her snout and whimpering with worry.

“Fur, frou…”

“It’s okay, girl…”  Tiana spoke to her Furfrou, running a hand through her usually shiny black fur.  It was dirty from the desert and in desperate need of a wash.  Purrl stretched out her muscles on the ground, rubbing against Tiana’s legs affectionately before sitting beside Furfrou.  “Let’s go to the Pokemon Center, okay?”  With that, Tiana set off towards Nimbasa City with her Pokemon to keep her company.

Walking through the center’s entrance, Tiana coughed once again, approaching the counter.  “H-Hi, I would like to heal my Pokemon…”  Placing all three of her Pokemon’s balls on the counter, she then rubbed the sleep away from her eyes.  “I’d also like to wash up and get some drinking water, please.”  Her voice was rather raspy from her time in the desert.

Drago tilted his head slightly, and shrugged. He then walked towards his trainer and Cynder.

Cynder glanced at Drago, and smirked. "It's about time you woke up." She said, smiling slightly.

Tempest glanced at his Pokémon and smirked. He then turned his attention back to the mysterious figure. "I wonder what that could be." He thought, before moving a bit to try and get a better view.

The figure in the building continued to roam about the building. As it noticed the trainer, it let out a soft cry, before running away again. "Larvi..." It muttered, running away as fast as it could. Incidently, not very fast.

Darin raised one of his eyebrows as Lurele summoned a Lucario. That was a pokemon also able to mega evolve, if he wasn't mistaken. "Well, it's a process known as mega evolution. It causes a pokemon to outdo themselves for their trainer. Quite an interesting process. Absol is only one of many pokemon who can attain such a feat. I believe Lucario is one of them." Darin shrugged, and displayed the Absolite on his hand briefly, before drawing his attention to what else Lurele had said.

"As I mentioned before, such a team doesn't exist. That must have been a very detailed dream you had."

Meanwhile, Absol finally acknowledged Mienfoo. It attempted to catch the fighting type with one of it's wings, but when that failed, Absol patted Mienfoo on the head with one of its feathery wings instead.

@@Antismurf9001@,

"Eh...? Wasn't talking about that one. Comet said in response to Jacques' words. The Growlithe must have belonged to the other one, then. Her suspicions were confirmed when Cecil spoke up again. So it was his pokemon! Cecil then commanded his Growlithe to say hello to her. "Aw!" She exclaimed, happily, scratching Growlithe behind the ears. "You're pokemon is very well behaved! You should be proud to own such a pokemon!"

Suddenly, a bright light flashed from the girl's bag, revealing an annoyed looking Snivy. It had apparently heard - somehow - Jacques refer to it, and looked to now be a bit upset by the fire type sitting on its trainer's lap. "Sniv." It growled.

The boat had just approached Castelia, and was now about to dock.

Nurse Joy looked confused for a moment. The trainer looked like she had slept out in the desert or something! She shook her head, and nodded. "Why, of course!" She said in a cheery voice, nodding at her Chansey, who wandered away into a different room. The Nurse then took Tiana's pokeballs into the back room, before returning shortly after. "Your pokemon have been healed and are now in tip-top shape. Please come again!" As the Nurse spoke, she placed the pokeballs back on the table. Chansey also returned, and extended a glass of water towards Tiana.

Tempest sighed, as he watched the Larvitar. "I'm sorry, little one. I hope you forgive me for this in time." He said. "Drago, use tackle." The trainer didn't want to hurt the Pokemon to much, but it would make a good addition to his team.

The gible nodded slightly, and dove into the ground.

Cynder sighed, and watched the fight. "It looks like we'll be getting a new teammate." She thought to herself.Assuming the fight wouldn't take long, the Feraxian sat ion the ground.

“Thank you,” Flashing Nurse Joy and Chansey a grateful smile, Tiana tucked away her Pokemon’s balls into her purse and then downed the glass of water that was handed to her.  “Ahh…”  She sighed in satisfaction.  Her throat didn’t feel nearly as scratchy or dry as before now that she had something to drink.  Waving goodbye to Joy and Chansey, she hurried into one of the back rooms of the Pokemon Center where she quickly showered (bringing Sasha and Purrl with her; they were equally as dirty) while her clothes were being washed in the laundry room.  Now freshly primped and clean, she left the center carrying Purrl and with Sasha at her side.  Sasha, not having been groomed, was in her natural state of fur.

“Hmm…where to next…”  Tiana muttered to herself, looking around at the large and lively city of Nimbasa.  It wasn’t nearly as crowded as Castelia City, but busy enough that it had a high-energy buzz.  Walking towards two stadiums she saw in the distance, Tiana wondered if she could possibly find someone to test out her new Alomomola’s strength in battle.

@@Leafeon@@Antismurf9001,

"Oh, yes, Scout is a most faithful companion of mine." Cecil said in casual response to Comet's remark. He was indeed proud of all his pokemon, and some would say that he had an 'authoritative' style as a trainer. Thus, whenever his pokemon did obey his commands, he was quite pleased. The growlithe was also quite pleased, as the girl scratched it behind the ears much like another friendly girl it had known back in Kalos. The growlithe was caught unawares when the snivy popped out, however, and looked questioningly at it while it was growled at, "grow?".

"For as young as he is, he is quite an exceptional little pokemon. I can hardly imagine how he'll be once he evolves; though, I heard such a process requires a stone. You like fire-types, right? You wouldn't happen to know where I could find a fire stone for him, would you?" Cecil asked; if he couldn't get any answers from the girl about who she was or who the Seekers were, he could at least inquire about something she seemed to have a great interest in.

Cecil and his pokemon felt as the boat pulled into the dock, and the sandslash resting in Cecil's lap looked up at its trainer, "-slash?" Cecil looked down at it, and laughed gently as he petted it, "yes, partner, we've arrived. We can get off this boat now." He also flashed a smile at his croagunk, given that he was in such a good mood. The croagunk looked confused for a moment, but then turned its head away, "-gunk." Cecil held his Sandslash in his hands, careful to not rest its spikes on his chest, and stood up from his seat, "welp, looks like we've arrived at Castelia. I'd love to continue our chat should we both be walking in town, but I must get off this boat right now, for my sandslash's sake." The sandslash nodded its head. Cecil took a moment to consider Jacques, "oh, and you're welcome to come along with me too, if you are so inclined. I'm sure Scout would appreciate being with his new buddy."

Cecil stepped off the boat, whilst his growlithe licked Comet's face before hopping off her lap to catch up with its trainer. His croagunk followed along behind, reluctantly. He set his sandslash down on the solid ground before him, and the sandslash looked up at its trainer with appreciation, "sand!"

"Oh... it was his Growlithe you meant..." Jacques said as his face reddened in embarrassment.  Luckily, it was at this point that Cecil jumped in and took over the conversation, so he doubted that the girl had noticed.  Then he sat back and relaxed.  It wasn't long at all before the buildings of Castelia loomed overhead.  The place was huge, maybe even as big as Lumiose City!  Jacques had only ever been to Lumiose a handful of times, so he wasn't terribly familiar with navigating around cities.  He was quite relieved when Cecil mentioned that he wouldn't mind if he accompanied him.  "Wait, really?  You don't mind?" he said hopefully.  "Well, I think Karel would enjoy that-"  The Mienfoo agreed with an excited, "Foo!"  "-though I suppose I should probably ask where you're heading first."  It didn't really matter, short of returning to Virbank or jumping off of a bridge, Jacques would probably go along anyways.  Still, it made sense to ask first.

Though there wasn't much happening in regards to battling, there were certainly quite a few people leaving the amusment park. According to the voices of them all, the gym leader had just put on a fashion show. A rather good one at that. She'd probably be up for a battle now that that was over.

On the other hand, something looked to be going on in the Seekers building. A few people had stopped to peer into the stained windows.

Darin swept his hand through his hair yet again, then brought it to his chin to appear somewhat pensive. "Oh... Let's see... I believe you would need Lucarionite to mega evolve a Lucario. Such a rock is rather hard to find, though it wouldn't be unusual if I possessed one." He said. "Furthermore, you need an activator of sorts. One that broadcasts the signals of both the mega stone and bond of the trainer and pokemon. Quite an extensive process I'm probably not explaining correctly. I have no idea where one would get such an object, however."

As Darin talked, Absol allowed Mienfoo to tug on one of it's wings. It was rather fond of this pokemon, as it was rather cute. Absol would never let on to this like, however.

Pumpkaboo sighed heavily, knowing that this trainer and his lovely Ghastly would never like it. It then floated towards Sawk, who was crossing his arms, clearly annoyed by the fact this trainer didn't seem to want one of the grass type pokemon as opposed to him or Throh.

After Pumpkaboo had said a bunch of nonsense that roughly translated to "I'll fight in your place, if that's ok.", both Sawk and Throh nodded in unison. Pumpkaboo gave out an excited cry, before turning towards Revvy. It babbled yet more nonesense to the fellow ghost type. "I'm gonna fight in Sawk's place! It growled even louder as Growlithe licked Comet's face, causing the girl to giggle.

As Comet got off the boat, she waved to Cecil and Jacques. "I'd love to come with you guys, but I really best be going. Tah-tah!" She yelled after them, before swiftly turning and ducking into an alley-way. She had basically disappeared before either of the boys could say another word to her.

Cecil had attempted to wave good-bye to the strange purple-haired girl, but she was quick on her feet and was out of sight with great haste. "So... odd, that one. Oh well, she did give me something new to keep in mind." He turned his attention back to Jacques, "hmm? Oh, well I intend to challenge the gym here, of course." He stated matter-of-factly, "assuming that there is one."

He started walking down the street, confident Jacques would be following along, "though, I might not rush over there right away. Who knows, maybe I'll pluck yet another stray pokemon off the streets to a better life," Cecil said, referring to the two-thirds of his team that he had met on the streets of a busy city. The first was his growlithe, who Cecil had met back home in Lumiose, and the other was his most recent catch, his croagunk. Said croagunk rolled her eyes at the remark, clearly remembering the incident quite differently from what her trainer described. "And, that girl did invite me over to the Seekers building here; I will most certainly stop by there before taking on the gym."

Cecil stopped in his tracks, however, when he noticed a crowd gathered around the street he was on. "Hmm? Now what is this about?" He made his way to the edge of the crowd, and put his hand on the shoulder of someone there, "excuse me, what is this crowd here about?"
